This place is locally owned and the people are amazingly helpful.  The owner and staff are very knowledgeable about local places for hiking/kayaking/etc and genuinely enjoy sharing what they know. Definitely a place in the community to support.

Expensive, staff was snooty. We were in the store for over an hour I had 500.00 in my pocket. No offered help of any kind.  Yeah, I wasn't going to purchase a paddle board that day.. but I won't purchase anything from here.. There are plenty of sports stores with way better pricing and better selection. I 'll shop any where else first.

A great local outdoor resource. Scott and his crew go above and beyond to help you get the correct gear for your adventure. They have a wide variety of rental equipment, including bear canisters (which we used this last trip). They are a true local store, helping you out when you make a mistake (such as forgetting to pick up said bear canister and needing to arrive 10 minutes after they close).

Purchased camping and hiking gear and am impressed. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about products. The store is huge and organized. I was looking for keen's and the associate sold me kid ones that were $20 cheaper. I was so excited to save money. The products they offer are of high quality.
