I hired NY International Shipping when my company relocated me from Texas to New York. The move was rather short notice for me but the company made it so easy. Their customer service is on point. They are very friendly and answered any question or concern I had. They arrived on time both on pickup and delivery. All of my belongings were kept safe and arrived with no damage or lost items. I didn't even have to lift a finger- it was by far the best moving company I have ever used and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Were constantly moving from place to place and finding good moving companies is really hard. After speaking with my coworkers I have called this company and could not be more happy with our move. Everything went smoothly and nothing was missing. The workers were nothing short of amazing and professional. The price was just right for the move of our stuff. Will be using this company for the future.

Great company to work with, it was so easy and and absolute pleasure doing business with this company. They made it a very easy process and transition. Everyone was very professional, on time, and more than willing to help with every step of the move. I would most definitely use this company again and would recommend them to everyone who is in need of moving help and wants it done in a worry free and professional manner.

Great service! I was recommended by a coworker who moved recently from Baltimore to Brooklyn and she told me that she had called multiple moving companies and chose this mover because they offered the best estimate. I moved from Rego Park to Prospect Lefferts, from a studio to a one-bedroom; from the initial inquiry to the last box that was delivered into my apartment, the move went smoother than I imagined and I'm really thankful. M, who helped me on the phone, suggested plans, and facilitated the whole move, was very professional, friendly, attentive, and helpful.

Thank you so much for the pain-free move and for delivering everything on time. I highly recommend NY International Shipping and I would definitely hire them again!

Moving is a stressful experience. Moving abroad is an extremely stressful experience, because you add to the mix all the various administrative paperwork and procedures. So it is critical to rely on a moving company that will not introduce more stress. Unfortunately it was not the case here.

The sales process was pretty good. Sales representative was helpful, understanding and managed some specific requirements very well. All up until the day of the move went well.

Then it went all downhill from there. The movers themselves were borderline unprofessional, bickering at each other the whole time. It made for a stark contrast with the people from Salvation Army who came the next day, who were unbelievably professional.
The person in charge of logistics scared us when he seemed unaware of the specifics that we had discussed with the sales rep. We managed to clarify it but there appeared to be some disconnect between the two (sales and logistics).
Then the worst happened. A full MONTH without any update whatsoever from logistics, despite our constant requests. After we arrived to our destination country a month after the pickup, in the middle of dealing with the aforementioned paperwork and procedures, we wanted to know how things were going with our shipment. We sent emails, left voicemails to the person in charge of logistics, escalated to our sales rep and despite all that, we could not get an update, be it as simple as "your shipment is currently on hold at the departure port" or "currently in transition between departure and destination". This was EXTREMELY stressful, and for that I will NOT recommend this company. Because we really didn't need that.
It was as if the only reason why the logistics person would reach out to us, was because we had a bill to pay.

Once the shipment had reached Europe and we started dealing with the local company in charge of the delivery, we fortunately went back to dealing with professionals: Regular updates, clear communication, everything went nice and smooth. The movers were delightfully professional, so the conclusion was very positive.

But as far as NY International Shipping, unless they fix their broken logistics communication, you should stay away from it.

In the end, I guess it matters that our shipment arrived without any damage to be reported (but we only had boxes, barely any furniture so it wasn't the most fragile shipment either). We were given a 6-8 weeks estimate, it eventually took 11 weeks so even on that front it was disappointing.

The two stars are because not everything was awful, and because in the end we got our shipment without damage or missing items.
