Tried to return a battery purchased at another store earlier in the day. Employee informed me that other store gave me a different battery than they sold me so I'd have to return at the original store and he couldn't help me due to the inventory issue this would cause. While I suggested this wasn't a customer or product issue but instead an inventory issue that I thought O'Reilly should be able to solve, he declined and didn't want to get the store manager or any try any other way to possibility help me.

This is my go-to place for anything car related that I might be able to fix myself.  The staff are always very helpful.  This past week, I had to return a battery and an alternator for a core charge along with 2 other parts that should have been covered under life-time warranty.  Mike, the manager, didn't mind looking through previous years of purchases to help me with swapping out the items as warranty replacements.
