If you're looking for a new family doc, I highly recommend Dr. Garg. I just had my first appointment with Dr. Garg, and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Garg is kind, compassionate, very smart and very thorough, all the qualities of a great doctor! I didn't feel rushed at all, and she addressed any concern I had. Not only was Dr. Garg great, her nurse, Marti, was also very friendly and made me feel like I'd been going there my whole life. Thank you two for making it to where I don't dread needing future appointments!
Unprofessional and staff messed up two appointments. We also got a call from Oschner DS at 1am in the morning, rude to call in the middle of the night. Disappointed since this had such good reviews.
Dr. Edith is an amazing caring doctor. I changed from my initial doctor because I was not satisfied. That was the best decision I could have ever made. The experience from the time I enter Dr. Edith's facility is nothing but amazing. Customer service is great! She will also work long hours to accommodate her patients. This is rare. She don't rush with her patients. I will drive the distance to get care from now my amazing doctor and friend.
I’ve been with Dr. Sledge for 24 or more yrs and I’m very thankful for him and his staff. They take the time to listen to me, truly listen and help me with my concerns. All my doctors are with Ochsner. My first OBGYN has retired. I have another physician that I’m very satisfied with, Dr. Hedges. I see Dr. Wood as my ENT but I’ve only seen him once in the last couple of years and I’ve also been to their Physical therapy and was treated nicely. Had surgery twice in NO with a doctor for my ears and couldn’t ask for better service. One of the first patients to have my hysterectomy done robotically, very pleased with the outcome. Love love love my Ochsner doctors and staff.
I have been in the hospital and stayed at the Lady of the Lake because so close to my house and I was transported twice and they kept me almost 2 weeks or u til white blood cells were lower, and the last time this year I was kept a week. Every single time I went my white blood count was high.the first time it was at 38,000, I've had blood in my urine and still do til this day I have been trying to get in with a urologist, but lately I'm having the worst time trying to breath and I have a nurse that calls me every month and shes been trying to help me get a nebulizer for the longest time now but dr edith mbagwu wouldnt prescribe one. Iij m on 3 different inhalers and I'd really like to not have to have all these inhalers. I'd rather use the nebulizer because I know how it helped me in the past. With all that I've had go wrong plus the specialist have been calling me all week for the last 3 weeks about test results that are coming back positive and I go to ask her about it and she tells me that I need to see my Psychologist doctor because she asked me if this was all in my head and I am shocked because she asked me to I did ask my psychiatrist and psychologist both if me being sick was in my head and when they saw the paperwork from the lake and the specialist they said no it's not in my head. It's clear as day something is wrong. Especially when I cant feel my right foot I dont know the right term but when I was driving sitting in my car my foot on the brake and all of a sudden I'm hitting the business building and my son saying get my foot off the gas and I told him my foot was on the break but when I looked down it flipped onto the gas and I couldnt move it. So my son had to pick up my leg and throw the car into park. This started 2 yrs ago with falling when I stood up out of bed, and it's gotten worst, and I'm so aggrivated because the last 2 years I've stayed sick and dont know why and shes going to ask me if this is in my head. My grandpa said she makes him feel the same way and hes never sick so I decided it's time to change pcp dr. I really love Ochner and all the doctors are really nice even she was, but when I know something is wrong and it started 2 years ago and I'm being looked at like im faking or crazy is when I need a doctor to help me feel better and believe me when I tell her something. I couldnt breath and coughing the last few days and when I was looking for inhaler because I couldnt breath I woke gasping for air and my son blowing air into my lungs. He said I passed out or something, and the dr said it sounded like I coded. Idk what that means but it sounded serious and if she thought this why didnt I get checked to see instead of being sent home with no prescriptions like the nebulizer I was told to ask her for and something for this cough. I'm just very upset because I feel really bad and I'm tired of being sick. I hope my new PCP believes his patience and checks all paperwork even from the other hospitals I bring from when I was inpatient for weeks. My thought is shes tired of me because she cant figure out what's wrong so she wants to say it's in my head when certain test are stating positive, and when I told her about the specialist dr calling me on my way from doing his test and she said I have degenerative bone disease. She said all that is is arthritis. Idk if that's true or not but I do know I hurt and dont ever ask not one of those drs for pain meds because I take tylenol for pain, so she cant say I'm asking or looking for pain meds either, so I'm just aggrivated because I feel so bad and she said what she did.
The staff and doctors are wonderful, and you are always greeted with a smile. They take the time to make sure your experience is stress free. You cant go wrong by choosing them for your medical care
Dr Qureshi is amazing! He is very through with everything, meds, all of my new concerns, and he goes over and beyond for his patients! I highly recommend Dr. Qureshi to anyone who needs a general practitioner doctor!! R.Bankaton
Had to go in for a refill. They got me in on short notice. Then on top of that I did not have to wait when I got there. They even called to let me know I could come early if needed they had a cancellation.
I waited on the site 25 minutes. It was my first virtual visit. No one told me what was going on if the doctor was coming on are just wait so I hung up.
I took my wife here to have bloodwork done. The staff was polite. The phlebotomist did not have any problems drawing her blood.
