We always enjoy our stay at Big Mountain Campground. Camp hosts are on site 24/7 and are willing to help in anyway to make our stay as positive as possible. This family business has kept their reputation for having spic and span facilities, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. I remember staying here with a group of friends over 35 years ago when I was in high school. The owner Jim went out of his way to make our first time camping (on our own) a success. We forgot our lantern and was staying in a tent. Jim went to his house, grabbed an extension cord, a lamp from his living room, and hooked us up with light for the night. His kids that are running it now and would do the same for anyone.

We LOVE this campground and we are glad they don't allow battery operated toys we want to enjoy the peace and quiet and that's exactly what they offer here! The owners and staff are so nice and helpful and it is so clean and well kept we will definitely be back! Thanks Big Mountain for a great weekend! (P.S read the emails they send it states right in there the rules for the park)

The owner is crazy. We had the owner yell at one of the women in our group because we were sitting on the wrong lawn. This place would be awesome if the owner (the guy who drives around on the golf cart all day) would let his wife handle the customers. There are only two fire pits, so if you want to roast marshmallows, be prepared to reserve a fire pit at 5. We stayed in the lodge, and there is no outdoor space if you stay in the lodge. No picnic table and no lawn. It doesn't make sense to me to have your most expensive unit not have any outdoor space. Other than the crazy owner and the two fire pits, we loved this place. Just wish the owner would chill out and realize that his customers are paying to stay there.

Camp staff were excellent, very narrow road entering, well kept grounds and immaculate showers/restrooms. Far enough off the highway for some quiet. Full hookups for RVs.

Ockey's is fantastic, extremely clean and friendly; the only place where they assist getting your RV into the space to ensure your level and happy. Awesome pool, game room and plenty of space for kids to ride bikes.
