My wife was refereed to the ER by our family Physician for a illness he could not diagnose. It was a NONE LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS ,important to know that detail. Admin nurse come in takes our insurance card records our info then leaves. I found it odd she did not ask for a copay at that time, so I asked the doctors nurse if I would need to pay my copay. Her response was "oh yes sorry the admin nurse is new I will have her come back in". The doctor then comes in performs his evaluation of my wife and orders a blood test and an ex-ray. At this point an Ambulance comes in and understandable takes priority and we are left to wait. This is were the poor care comes into play, the test are completed the doctor comes back in and tells us he is unable to find anything wrong to go home and wait it out. Then it really gets good that NEW admin nurse comes back in and tells us OH BY THE WAY YOU ARE OUT OF NETWORK. Understandably I am upset it was a non life threatening issues that they are unable to diagnose anyway and now i,m left paying full retail with no insurance coverage. If i would have been told this up front we would have left and went to another ER that accepts my insurance. I explained this to the admin nurse and she said dont worry since its an ER you insurance will cover it. WRONG a month later I get a 4,000.00 dollar bill for a visual exam, blood test, and an ex-ray. I pay 800.00 dollars a month for health insurance and for a hospital to not disclose I am out of network up front, allowing them to take advantage of my family just to add more profits to their account. Shame on you Ogden Regional!!!

Went in for Surgery and I have to tell you the Hospital staff was fantastic. Very nervous about it all but we had a nurse in Surgery named Holly that was great and made it all as good as it could be. Everything went great and I would recommend them without any reservation.

I was there yesterday for a stress test for my heart. The nurses were wonderful. The only bad part of my experience was as two nurses were finishing up my treadmill part of the test, a doctor came in (I don't know his name, he looked middle eastern, his picture is not in the directory of cardiologists) and wanted to talk to them right them. One went out into the hall and he started chewing her out. The other nurse shut the door so we wouldn't have to hear him. As she was directing us out to go to radiology he saw her and wanted to talk to her right then. Another nurse stepped in and showed us the way. We felt this doctor was very unprofessional and very disrespectful not only to the nurses but to us as patients went I was in the middle of a test. If I end up needing to see a cardiologist I will not see him. I only went to this hospital because my primary care doctor from Garland thought it would be better than Logan. Four star because everyone was professional even the people in the cafeteria other than this one doctor who I would never go to.

$28,000 A month for drug rehab. No state or county funding, no Medicaid acceptance, no scholarship type programs. I asked the woman to read me the hospital’s mission statement, I guess my daughter doesn’t deserve help. They are a for-profit institution. I’m a United States Navy veteran, with 35 years of medical experience under my belt, I took the medical oath; this hospital does not follow that oath.

Worse medical care ever received! No diagnosis! Nurses were very unprofessional! When I asked her for water her response was to get it from the sink in the ER room. Waste of time, money and still have the same issue with my health. Couldn't even get an excuse note for work. Worthless
