I love this place! ♥ this place is Briarcliff in the Tv Show American Horror Story.

Lovely place to get married!  I really admire the architecture and history behind the building.

The people who work there are really nice and patient.  I remember walking in and the lady behind the desk directed us to sign in on the computers.  After filling out the forms and signing in. they would call our names.  We waited for a few minutes and our names were called.  It's $89 for marriage certificate and civil ceremony.  I didn't realize that you can rent the room for $100 and have a more formal ceremony in the courthouse.

Great place to take engagement photos or learn about Orange County history.

Tip: The courthouse is open M-F and once a month on a weekend.  So if you don't have time to get married during the week; check when their special weekend open house is.  Parking was free during the weekend.  Get there early to get a spot  10 am - 3 pm

Building is old but very historic, nice feel to it. Nice for taking pictures or just exploring.
