A solid 4 star. A solid option if you want a nice atmosphere and don't want to leave the hotel. The views are great whether you're sitting all the way to the river with the harbor and "Capital Wheel" in view or the inside the atrium of the Gaylord. The food was very good, not excellent and the staff definitely treated us with the respectable white table cloth service. The atmosphere is that of a fine dining experience. All course & drinks are quite over priced for the offerings and quality, but again you are paying for the view, the Gaylord and the attentive staff.

Melt in your mouth steaks...and I have been to many steakhouses. These were superb. Beyond belief. The lobster was incredibly tender and they accommodated a desire for oysters. Beautiful place, great service... I wish it were closer!

Service and food were outstanding. The restaurant itself is beautiful and it’s a great place for a romantic date night! We absolutely loved the food and our waiter was great! I wouldn’t recommend this place for young children because it is an upscale atmosphere, but there were some older and well behaved children at tables near us who seemed to really enjoy themselves.

Very solid steakhouse. Good service and well cooked steaks. Wine list by the glass could have had a little more variety and creativity - no old world at all.

Our waiter was great, atmosphere was wonderful to start, everything else very disappointing. For a upper end steakhouse a lot more was expected. Felt more like a very bad texasroad house and chucky cheese mix. This not exactly restaurants fault but did nothing or said nothing about large party next to us. They had 8 kids under 8 years old running around disrupting staff and patrons. I know steakhouse not responsible for bad parenting, but should have at least asked parents to keep them seated out of the staffs way for safety reasons minimally. That just fueled our dissatisfaction, we ordered our food and wine, salad came out fast and was great. Then came the wait for our entrays. Waiter walked by many times topping off our wine then going in the kitchen looking for our food. Finally discussed with atmosphere and wait, I asked a different waiter if we could pay for what we got and leave. He got I guess the manager, a very young guy, which he told us our food would be out shortly. Seemed to be annoyed with us instead of trying to fix anything. We waited another 10 minutes. Now there for 1 hour 30 minutes total, ordering within 15 minutes. Final straw was kid around 8 lifted his shirt stuck his hand in his armpit and made fart sounds in middle of the floor with staff and parents watching. For the price we were paying for the experience totally unacceptable. I would like to say all the food was great but can only say the salads were good. Never got the steaks or anything from the manager. I felt bad for our waiter who had to apologize for the inconvenience and tried to make things right. He was a excellent waiter. Will never go there again and try the McCormick and Smidts down the street. This was our experience and yours may be better.
