I love going here for lunch. They are friendly and quick, but don't make you feel rushed out the door if you want to stay a while. It really is my "go to" place for lunch with friends. Only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because the few times I've tried to eat dinner here have been awful. I've come during the "dinner rush" two or three times, and the hostess was rude, we waited forever, and they messed up our order repeatedly. The difference really is night and day.

The service is usually good, but the wait for a table can sometimes be a bit long. The servers are mostly high school or young college kids so they arent the most attentive wait staff, but they are usually very kind. Some of the tables in the front of the restaurant are really close to the main walkway for people entering and exiting so you feel like you're in the middle of the busy chaos. I recommend asking for a table in the back if possible.

The food was excellent and the environment was great but the excessive manner in which our server up charged us is the reason for my rating. Up charges are to be expected and when I ask for something extra I don't mind paying for it, but on this trip the up charges rose to the level of being excessive in my opinion. When I'm paying $13 for spaghetti and tomato sauce, if I want some tomato sauce on the side for my bread sticks, it shouldn't cost an additional $4.29 and that's just one example. At least $20 of our $50 bill was due to up charges. As a former server, I know that up charging is largely left to the discretion of the server and that some servers intentionally up charge for every little thing to create a higher bill in hopes of a bigger tip and I think we had one of those servers that night. I can't condemn the whole establishment bc of this one server so I would definitely return and reccommend others to go, just watch out for the excessive up charging if you do.

I'm a veteran that went to eat at Olive Garden today for the veterans day special. Today was a great day to take my daughter. Money is tight and She has been asking me for a while to go there. I had just enough for a good tip and dessert for my daughter. The food and service was great. The bad experience started when I took my child to the bathroom.Once I came back my table was cleaned off and a lady that work there was taking my food that was packed up off the table. The server said they thought you had left. I wasn't gone long, I just went to the bathroom. They tried to apologize but I was hurt, mad and embarrassed at the fact that I wasn't able to sit down and make that choice myself to say if I was done. I was mad they thought i had skipped out on my $9 meal. I was going to tip based on the price of the meal before the discount and more because I know living as a server is based on tips. But i couldn't after this was done.
