One Stop is my go-to for the Sunday Globe, which I've been picking up there for many decades. They are also a great late-night bail out for a meal that might have been missed. Most recently, it was there for me with great tortilla chips and french onion dip.

Hard to rate any convenience store as a must visit. This one is pretty ordinary. Drinks and snacks foods, fairly reasonable prices. They sell newspapers, lotto and tobacco, no alcohol. 
I stopped in recently just looking for bottled water and a coke. The can of coke was a buck. The place was quiet, but the clerk was friendly enough and the store was clean and decently lit. I think most people looking for groceries or a meal will go a little further down Cyprus street towards Kurkman's market and pizza stop. 
FYI they told me they have a six dollar minimum for cards.
