Since 1979 when it was founded by people of Lakewood Presbyterian Church, One World Shop has been a non-profit dedicated to Fair Trade. Fair Trade ensures opportunities exist for impoverished artisans across the world to sell their hand crafted items at fair prices, to work in safe conditions, and to lift themselves and their communities out of poverty. One World Shop provides local customers the chance to learn about world cultures and artistic expression, and provide support through their purchase of unique items. Browse the store to see Hatian metal art pieces, mud cloths from Ghana, Kissi stoneware or wood carvings from Kenya,recycled popcan giraffes and iguanas from So.
