Orange Park Medical Center has been serving residents of Clay, Duval, St. Johns, Baker, and Bradford counties since it opened in 1974.

Story

We are a full-service, acute-care hospital with 317 inpatient beds located in the heart of Orange Park, providing medical care to Clay County and surrounding communities.

The hospital has 170 private rooms. There are nine labor, delivery and recovery room suites for new mothers and a seven-bed, Level-2 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for premature babies and those born with special needs. There is also a 24-bed psychiatric unit, 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 20 intensive care unit (ICU) beds.

This was my first hospitalization. The nursing and tech staff on 4C and in the ER were phenomenal. They made my recovery a lot easier. They kept me informed and helped get me answers when I was unclear on my path to recovery. Everyone had a smile on their face and was very kind.

I have been dealing with this since April 22, am 1800 dollar bill over an ankle sprain and seeing the doctor for 5 minutes and 1 x ray. After attempting to call I spoke to a woman who gave me some information about disputing my bill. I have tried calling and leaving messages over and over again and still nothing. I'm trying to resolve my billing issue but nobody returns my call. I was given a managers phone number and have left over 5 messages without a return call, I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. NEVER go to OP MEDICAL. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE HOSPTIAL

Great emergency room. Speedy service. Lab results in minutes, not hours. People friendly and professional. Don not know how service could have been improved.

HORRIBLE !! HORRIBLE !!  Staff in the Labor and Delivery where very rude. Very Nosy and Hostile. HIPPA Laws were violated to the extreme with nurses passing vital info to other floor workers. As a father I recommend ANY other hospital. Take my advise. We had our following 2 children born at st Vincent's Southside And It was night and day experience from the horrible events that unfolded at Orange Park Medical. This is a once on a lifetime opportunity don't let Orange Park Medical ruin it for you like they did for is on our first child !!  ..... I'm the president of a corporation :)

Was immediately greeted and helped, taken to the Pediatric ER for my son. Staff was cordial and responsive, assuring me with information or questions.
