Preserving Oregon's aviation history for future generations.
With a museum hangar boasting some of Oregon's oldest home built aircraft and a hangar dedicated to restoration projects we invite you to come learn about Oregon's wild aviation history!
As a Historical Society OAHS is also home to a climate controlled aviation-related archive room; and a reference library that is open to anyone interested in aviation research. As a reference library, all items must remain "in house," but we will gladly assist independent researchers here at the History Center.
It is the mission of OAHS to collect, preserve and restore aviation artifacts for interpretive and educational display, to insure the preservation of Oregon's rich aviation heritage for future generations.
We do have items for sale here at the History Center, such as the long out of print "Black Cats and Outside Loops - Tex Rankin: Aerobatic Ace," by Walt Bohrer, "Troh's Air Taxi," by Lorraine Troh Gabel, PhD, and many others. Contact us via email for more information.
