He joined OrthoArkansas as an orthopedic surgeon in 1999.A native of Little Rock, Dr. Siems attended the University of Arkansas, earning a Bachelor's of Science in zoology. Following his graduation, he enrolled at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and received his Doctor of Medicine degree. Ortho AR and my doctor, Martin Siems, have taken great care of me thru a broken arm and other orthopedic issues. He is friendly, informative, a good listener and a very reliable doctor. I trust him and his happy friendly staff with my continued care. Update: After multiple appointments over the last year and a half I am still elated to tell you my care has been exemplary. Dr. Siems, who I always see at the NLR clinic is the best ortho doc I've every had. To put it simply, he helps me. From steroid injections for arthritic joints, providing accurate diagnoses or tending to broken bones, my experiences & ortho stuff is painful have been great. His APRN, RN, radiology staff, cast techs and clerical staff are all happy and kind. That tells you it is also a good place to work. Efficiency is tremendous. I've not had to use the rehabilitation clinic yet but I've heard good things! I highly recommend Dr Siems and Ortho Arkansas.
Dr Siems he was a very nice doctor to me I like him very much he told me all my issues I had I don't have no problem with him and that shot that he gave me it really worked and I want another one thank you so much have a blessed day. GOD bless you, Ms Terease Rogers
I want to start off by saying that I did have a successful knee cartilage repair surgery by Dr Siems. Im choosing to write this review because I chose not to continue my follow up care with him because he is very unprofessional when it comes to bedside manner. I had my first follow up appointment after my surgery and he had no interest in my recovery at all. I tried to talk with him about doing physical therapy and how my knee was doing and he said he didn't care about that at all and said come back in a month and walked out the door. I was just another patient that he tried to push out the door so he could get on to his next appointment. As a doctor, you should care about your patients and their recovery after a surgery. Its sad when you wait an hour and a half in the room just to see a doctor who treats you that way for a 10 minute appointment that didn't even last maybe 5 minutes.
Dr Siems is a great Doc. He explains everything about u're case to you and is very efficient. Only doc I will see at Ortho Ar. Great Surgeon fixed me up. On road to recovery now.
Dr. Siems did my Total Knee Replacement Feb 9th. He came highly recommended by a client so I chose to come from Benton to NLR to consult with him. I am now almost 8 weeks PO, I had a very easy recovery and will be going back to work next week. So happy with my new knee.
I took my dad and the whole process was wonderful!! From the scheduling to the rescheduling, checking in, wait time, and friendliness of the nurses/workers/doctors. It was great. Dr. Siems took his time to explain everything and answer our questions. I definitely recommend him.
I've had several surgeries in my lifetime. But i must tell you Dr Sims is the best surgeon around. After my knee surgery i was up and walking same day. The next day i hardly had little to no pain. I recommend for knee surgery that everyone uses Dr Martin Sims.
Dr. Siems and his staff are wonderful! He has helped my husband so much with his skills! He is very patient and explains things to us so we understand what is taking place.
I had a knee replacement 3 years ago and have been very happy with the results. Dr Siems is a very wonderful and good doctor. The staff at Arkansas Ortho is great.
Dr. Siems had Little to No respect for me. He showed no concerns or interests in my issues. He was more opinionated than professional. As for a Dr I understand he's very busy, but he could have more patience & compassion for his patients. I do respect his honesty, however...he's not the Dr for me.
