Had an abnormal bump in my knee that was causing a lot of pain! Dr McAtee gave me a cortisone shot that only made it worse. Went in for an MRI and he said he didn't see anything from that and the bump was "just the way my bones were shaped." After moving out to CO I got a second opinion. This new surgeon used the SAME MRI as Dr McAtee used (I brought a copied CD to the new surgeon) and said that my meniscus was partially detached and the bump was actually a fat pad that had slipped out of place. I have since had surgery. They repaired my meniscus and cut out the part of fat pad that slipped out of place and my knee feels 100% better. Do not see Dr McAtee..... you can find someone who will not dismiss you or your pain. You can find a doctor who actually listens to you and cares about You!

Dr. McAtee has replaced both my knees and given me back a life without pain after all these years. The care and attention given to the surgery and recovery was beyond excellent. I would highly recommend this doctor and the group over all to everyone..
