We live here and have complained about our windows and how cold it gets in here many times.   I was told not once but several times by maintenance they will not replace windows here because the building is too old and the sinking foundation won’t allow it.   Well the inside of my daughters bedroom window is covered with snow today.  Yes the inside.  In addition I had black mold covering the inside of our shower.  They only replaced it when we called the board of health.    I’d carefully reconsider this place.  It’s over priced for run down apartments.   This is only a few of the issues we’ve experienced as well as many other tenants here.   Only good thing going for them is the Mt Olive school system.

For $1730 rent you are better off in some other place. Apart from the rent you have to pay through the nose for heating and cooling, as the apartment doors and windows are full of gaps. The heater runs continuously non stop as the apartments can’t hold the heat inside. 
The other biggest problem is noise. After paying 1730 you would expect a sound sleep at night but they have these ancient machines outside which keeps making so much noise that you lose your sleep. Then why am I still living here? Because moving costs money.
The maintaince guys are prompt but the property is so old and outdated that problems can’t be fixed. But that doesn’t stop them increasing the rent every year. Rent grows steadily!!

Moved into a brand new renovated apartment. Move in day I was told our washer dryer storage room wasn’t finished with no ETA and not even an email prior to moving day that we wouldn’t have a washer dryer. Even though we are paying extra a month to have our own washer dryer  the leasing agent would not give us our money back unless the renovation went beyond 4 weeks. So now I am paying monthly for my washer dryer room, AND paying to use their public laundry. My neighbor told me his washer dryer also wasn’t done and took 6 weeks. Brand new toilet didn’t flush, shower didn’t drain but maintaience was dash on fixing that.

The location of this development is wonderful. However, the property is miss managed. My recommendation, get EVERYTHING in writing because they have a habit of making false statements regarding leasing options and agreements while holding you to the terms of leasing agreement you signed with the previous owner/management company. 

There have been 3 or 4 changes in property management in 2 years, which is an issue within itself. However, management is one - there are a broad range of issues with cleanliness, flooding, sewage, garbage and the lack of removal,  the constant threats of fees and even legal action when you do not respond to Overlook in the time that they deem appropriate. Unfortunately, your time as a tenant, is disposable. 

As a sales person I feel for Liz and the other girls, they work hard and do a good job with what they have and it is not their fault that Priscilla and the team do not live up to the promises that the sales team make. Good luck future residents, don't take my work for it - speak with the residents when you tour, there is a reason they have such a poor rating and its a reason pretty pictures cannot resolve.

Easily the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in or been to.  For what we pay for a one bedroom we have insane bathroom issues that never get fixed. They over charge for everything and nickel and dime for every expertise they can think of.  Can't wait to move out and I would not recommend this to anyone
