I wish I could give give zero stars and write a review. I am new to the Palm Coast area so I know nothing of the medical facilities around. I am very sick (pneumonia in both lungs) and needed to see a doctor. I was recommended to this facility; to Dr. Freuhan. This is the most unprofessional, cruel, rude and crass man I have ever come across in my life.after waiting 3 hours in an empty waiting room I was finally seen by Fruehan. He began my exam by touching around my torso and upper chest for an uncomfortable amount of time and a way that made me feel very uneasy. He then preceded to listen to my chest with a stethoscope, which is completely normal except for the fact that he kept raising my shirt above my bra. When I would pull it down be said my shirt obstructed him from hearing clearly.... I was wearing a tee shirt... after the very uncomfortable exam he began to ask me questions about my medical history, including which medications I have been prescribed over the last few years. When I told him of being diagnosed with ADD since I was a child he said “people that take that medication and believe they have ADD are losers”. I was completely caught off guard with his comment, but didn’t react negatively to it. He asked why I was there and I told him, for the third time, about the coughing and chest pain. This poor excuse for a doctor began to go on a tangent, cutting me down, telling me I am a drug addict, I am “stupid “ that “a box of rocks has more intelligence than I do” after he called me every negative name known to man and accused me of being an “out of control, worthless drug addict” he tells me to get out of his office. I asked him again to please just tell me what kind of sickness I have and please just give me whatever antibiotics I need to get better he responds by saying “welcome to pneumonia in both lungs,” then tells me that “people with insurance are worth something, you’re self pay, since you don’t have insurance nobody in palm coast will see you.. go to the ER to get what you need” This is the only time I lost my composure, telling him I want a prescription for antibiotic or I want a refund. He continued to call me names and insult me and threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave. I walked out with no $125 refund, no prescription. I want to add that the whole time he insulted me and called me names and put me down he did it very loudly where all of the other patients and staff could hear. I have never been so offended and shocked by anyone in my life.

If I could give no stars, I would. Rudest office staff who I have seen time and time again always choose to try and argue with a patient opposed to helping them. They will literally go out of their way to be rude and tell you why they can not help you, instead of trying to find a way to help you(what do they get paid for?). This place is no good for anyone, no one should have to be worried about dealing with such horrible staff when they are worried about their health already! The only time thie office was acceptable and with dealing with the rude staff, is when Dr. Ramesh Patel was there, he was a fantastic Doctor! Not only that, they add stuff to your bill without letting you know. They made me take a urine a few times when the doctor told them I didn't need it, right in front of me. Then they tried to charge me for their mistake. Great staff right? This place is a joke and I have no idea how it's been allowed to continue running.

He is straight forward, no beating around the bush.....he has been my doctor for 20+ years, wouldn't dream of going to anyone else!!! LOVE HIM AND HIS STAFF

I actually worked for Dr. Fruehan for quite some time but quit because I couldnt take his disrespect of the patients and the staff anymore. After a patient would leave the office, he would say horrible things about them like, "She's a dumbass or she's a druggry or this guy is faking it." He would take down to the employees actually yelling obscenities at them in front of patients. When my husband was in the hospital dying, Dr. Fruehan's wife (she was the office manager) gave me an ultimattim - stay with your dying husband and get fired or come into work. Of course, I stayed with my husband who died several days later. Also, if you are a young pretty woman, Dr. Fruehan (nicknamed Feely Fruehan) will hit on you and make some very sexual remarks. He can be very caring for some patients but others.....one 80 year old woman was having a stroke and he had me call a taxi for her instead of an ambulance to take her to the ER! just be very careful of him! The other Drs are great!
