If I can give negative stars I would. The people who work at the village City Hall are nothing but crooks con artist and liars don't ever trust a word that any of them in that office say because when you go back they will tell you something completely different and charge you three to four times more than you were told.
The dumbest worker you ever see , I went to pick a permit they couldn't find it I bien informed to take my phone so they could call me Gus's what they didn't , one visit I asked them if I cold pay the water bill on line by using phone app they said we will receive it 10 days after so I gambled by sending the payment thru the app gues what they got the payment on time with out the ten days they mention bottom line uncivilized. I just moved in !!!!!
Bad experience, rude on the phone. Doesn’t care about inhabitable living conditions with no running water. Doesn’t provide notices for water shut offs. In Illinois it is illegal to shut off someone’s water without a written 10 day notice, they are breaking government laws. They have been shutting water off for 2-3 days out of the week every single week the past 3 months without notice. Don’t move to Palos Hills and definitely don’t reach out to the city hall for help.
I had an opportunity to read the previous reviews for our dedicated city hall staff and wasn't surprised to see a couple of negative reviews there on Google. I had interacted with this office before, having been a resident of Palos Hills for about some 20 + years now, and the women staffing the customer service windows were, indeed, "nasty"at times. It was like a visit to the DMV. Today, however, I was greeted by Nichole when I went in to renew our dog's license and she was absolutely nothing less than a sweetheart. She was efficient and yet wasn't afraid to be friendly and engage in conversation. I hope this represents an a revival of an awareness of the importance and value of good customer support at the municipal level. It looks the PHCH was fortunate when choosing to employ Nichole. Thanks Nichole for an easy and friendly experience at Palos Hills City Hall.
Looks like I'm not the only one that is being taken advantage of by Palos Hills over Water bills. If anyone is interested in filing a lawsuit against the city please contact me. They have gone too far and it is illegal.
Just want to loot the people. Judge doesn't even give you a chance to explain. A very small hearing room with 10 people capacity and 200 people try to prove their innocence.
Instead of worrying about crime or people with music until 2 AM, they decide to give me a citation over a rooster. Pathetic excuse of a governmental facility
very rude service.. especially the water department!! lady was very rude!! has 0 skills of management and public service. water system and department needs to be changed!!!
They DO NOT care about you. They will charge you for whatever they can, take your money and will not care about anyone in their way. Rude customer service.
