Like going back to the 50s. Elevator from the 60s, maybe. No refrigerator, no microwave. Off season so no breakfast. Little heat. It is clean. TV, but analog. I had them upgrade me to bigger room which they did willingly. Staff is friendly.

The food is decent in the pub and the prices are pretty fair for Vancouver.. Neighborhood is not great, bordering skid row but it's safe to walk. The budget rooms are very small but the price is good and its close to downtown. If your looking for a five star hotel keep looking, if your looking for decent room on a budget in an expensive city you've found it.

This hotel is possibly the best value in the city. Yes, perhaps it is in a rough neighbourhood, but if you’re a grown up who has ever been in a big city before you’ll be just fine. The hotel is vintage and adorable. Staff were fantastic. The rooms are very basic, but for $55 a night, it is a steal. The only reason for not a 5-star review was because the WiFi was terrible.

Decent rooms, tvs were small but good channel selection. The best part of this hotel is getting to people watch from your window. While I felt totally safe for my whole visit, I did see quite a few drug deals and johns pass by outside. Hastings street is crazy.

The hotel is pretty nice. I stayed on the top floor. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Front desk was helpful in calling cabs and providing information about the area. The neighborhood the hotel is in is pretty sketchy. Saw people smoking crack on the sidewalk across the street
