Was not vegan, as stated. We got two meals. One was a roasted veggie wrap with small garden salad, and the other a salad with fennel and spiralized kohlrabi. Signs listed the ingredients of each. I asked the server whether each was vegan and she said yes. I should have known to explain that vegan had no animal products? They both came with a dressing that had not been listed, and seemed to be mayonnaise-based, which calls into question what else wasn't listed. We were out of time to ask them to re-make the dishes.

This is the BEST place to eat lunch. I feel like no one really knows how great this place is. It’s totally underrated. Have been here a handful of times and have had a bunch of different things on the menu and everything has been great. My and my significant other’s favorite place to eat lunch in DC! Don’t underestimate the simplicity of a great lunch here.

Of all the restaurants in DC, we ate here two nights in a row. Asian chicken salad and SW salads awesome. Fresh and delicious. Staff friendly as can be as well. Very fairly priced. Try these guys - You will enjoy. My next meal there will be the chicken pot pie. Crust looked flakey as can be.

A nice little cafe to rest your feet as you strut down the National Mall. They have plenty of large glass windows where you can gaze at metal sculpture and in the winters they have ice skating 10 steps away.

Great location, delicious high quality food with a fantastic menu!! I had the toasted brie, with apples on cranberry walnut bread and my mother had a delicious chicken salad on croissant that had the most delightful tarragon flavor. Both served with a green salad with a house dressing that was light and flavorful. Great find!!!!
