Story

From a single, modest, 900 square-foot Pawn America location in Robbinsdale in 1991, we have grown to stores in four states, shown double-digit growth year after year, repeatedly been named one of the fastest-growing companies in Minnesota, and now employ more than 500 people. We consider ourselves recyclers. After all, thatâ€™s our businessï¿½recycling merchandise that otherwise might be thrown away. Also, we deal in NO adult material itâ€™s not our culture. We refuse to make anyone uncomfortable shopping in our stores. Pawn America is a family experience, with something for everyone. Our top products are jewelry, consumer electronics, musical instruments, tools, recreation items, art and collectibles, DVDs (including box sets), video games, tablets, laptops and much more.

I visited the Pawn America in Inver Grove Heights with the expectation of making a purchase. I then met an extremely rude woman who seemed to be the manager.  She pretty much told me she didn't care if I purchased anything and had the worst customer service I've ever experienced.  Hoping to get some help and answers, I waited in line to talk to an employee named Marcellus.  He provided me with answers and excellent customer service.  Honestly, one of the best employees I've ever met. I made the purchase and so far I am very pleased with my experience.  Thanks for your exceptional customer service and friendly attitude Marcellus.

I went in tonight, September 12th, to pawn my TV. I asked if I could get the same amount that was paid to me when I pawned it before or maybe $10.00 more. Astrid looked up my previous pawn of the TV and said that was fine. She was so polite and nice. Had to wait for the manger to approve it and she also was nice and helpful. 99 percent of the time I go in there because I have to pawn something, which is a last resort for me, your staff has been great. Thank you Astrid! I really appreciate it more than you know

Nice store! I was very surprised at how clean and organized this store was compared to other stores I've been in. 
The staff was super attentive and there were plenty on board to help.  
The selection of goods was great too!! Loved that they had a collection of sneakers as I am a collector! 
Everyone seemed happy to be there especially one named. Morgan!
She was very knowledgeable and upbeat and went out of her way to help me!

Morgan is awesome, very helpful, friendly, and willing to work with you however she can. I also really like the rest of the new staff. Much less annoying than the old crew and not argumentative like the old management. Overall a very unexpected but pleasant experience.

Cleanest location they have, also biggest/best selection.  Morgan was amazing, I was looking for a budget friendly guitar/amp/cord setup and she got me exactly what I was looking for at an amazing price.  Do yourself a favor and go here first!
