I heard that they were going out of business and i was shopping at the walmart next door so i popped in and checked out what they had the signs said up to 75 percent off. Its hard finding shoes in my size i have a large foot but there were alot. Not all the shoes are 75 percent off sone are 50 and 40 percent. But i found a wonderful pair of open toed high heel sandels. At 75 percent off paid only 8 69. What a bargin.
Nice, clean store. The staff was friendly and helpful. They explained the sale and pointed out signs to watch for. I found the perfect boots for my daughter. The checkout process was very quick and the cashier was so nice. The prices were great! I'm sad to hear the stores are closing!
I wouldn't normally shop here, but picked up a couple pair of their best name brands at 30-50 percent off. The store employees were chatting amongst themselves. Apparently, their store closing is in the beginning stages because the stock was full. The young woman that checked me out never greeted me or acknowledged my prescience while I was checking out. She was busy talking to another young woman employee and they were talking about a Middle-Eastern family while they were in. It was completely irrelevant and unfocused on checking me out and quite frankly RUDE and discriminatory on their other customer family of 5+. I'm sad to see this young generation still racist and have no hospitable/customer service skills.
Maybe it's the hot weather? I made a trip especially altered to get new shoes today. I knew the size, color, brand, etc. And just needed to get in and purchase. Store hours posted on the door said 10:00 am. I was a bit early so I went into WalMart next door. Got back to Payless at 10 am. Waited for store to open..... I was not the only customer waiting. 10 minutes went by, 15 minutes. One lady left. I Googled the store and called. Busy. Tried again and waited some more. I finally left. Management needs to rethink their staff. Sales were lost this morning and, as a business, more importantly, you lost this customer for good.
On sale 40% - 60% off it says - But they've marked up everything to it's highest and then present the discount. Plus not 1 employee asked if they could be of any help. They just talked about another employee at the cash register.
Its ok cause they have lots of selection. I mean, the prices are super high now-a-days. I can remember when Payless Shoes is where you would pay LESS!
Good store with many stuff .. but they are closing store so have great offers
Why they must go I don't know Economy shoes. Alot to offer. Sad to see an icon go
Poor selection of shoes.. appears to be going out of business. Strong oder of plastics and other toxins in the shop.
Everything is 50% off today and tomorrow! Yahoooooo and the ladies there working was awesome!
