For years Pecometh has been my go-to for church retreats and training events. The grounds are clean and the setting is relaxing. My son attended summer camp here and loved it. I highly recommend this place and the staff.

Our kayak club is always looking for new places to paddle. When we found out that Camp Pecometh books non-profit clubs in their retreat houses, the decision was made. The camp is on a gorgeous section of the Chester River, and only a few hours away from our homes in Eastern Pennsylvania.

We stayed in Faith House, which was perfect for our group of 22 paddlers. Besides having some great waters to paddle, we enjoyed very good food at very reasonable prices in the retreat center and camp dining hall. We had a camp fire outdoors one night, and warmed up by the big fireplace indoors when it became cool and rainy outside.

Booking and checking in and out was easy - the staff is very accommodating.  Our group, the Lehigh Valley Kayak and Canoe Club,  looks for a different place to stay on the water and explore every spring. Camp Pecometh met our needs the best.

For the 2 years I went there something or in those 2 cases somethings had to go bad. First year: didn't have anything for me 2 eat, someone was airlifted to the hospital, campers didn't have electronics but consulars did?!? How does that make any sense?!? Second year: got yelled at for nothing, lost my voice, someone touched poison ivy, a near bear encounter, food at the gift shop too expensive.  Who would pay nearly 4 dollars for a candy bar?!? Also 500 dollars a camper. With that money I could get a ticket to the uk. Also I nearly passed out and my sides were hurting. Ps why were the boys and girls seperate?!? That camp made no sense to me at all. It's not like we were going to encounter anyone else again. Now if I were to say or in this case type something good about the camp was the table tennis and sleeping. Also this still baffles me. If bots and girls were separate then how come some people who were dudes get a girl consular and girls got a male consular? I don't get that camp at all. Oh I forgot to mention this: TOO MUCH SINGING

Camp Pecometh provides a great atmosphere with super hospitality by its staff, great lodging and outstanding meals making for a thoroughly enjoyable time away from the world cares with constant reminders everywhere of God's great blessings!

Just left after a retreat. Can't wait to get back. Perfect spiritual retreat center in a perfect location. Food is awesome!
