Rented a cabin in the middle of the week in December. They had a Festival of Lights that was free for campers, but $20 per car for non-campers. It was difficult to find the cabin as it was very dark by 6pm and they mandated a one-way traffic to accommodate all the Lights enthusiasts. When we finally arrived, the cabin was very clean-no dust or spider webs inside. It contained a bunk bed, a full/queen size bed in one room and a pull out sofa with a fridge and microwave at the entrance. It took about an hour for the whole cabin to warm up. Outside was a fire pit with a grill, a BBQ grill, and a picnic table. The bathrooms are common use. The showers open directly outside-they are separate from the sinks and toilets. There was a laundry facility as well. The power did go out for about 5 minutes. The convenient store is well equipped from BBQ tools to a S'mores kit. Overall, it was nicer than expected for a cabin. We only stayed one night and didn't get to explore the trails. I look forward to the next trip there.

I went to the light festival. It was beautiful! We drove around a trail with lights everywhere. Each section had a theme. They only two themes I remember right now are winter wonderland and toy land. My sister and I were amazed by all the things they were able to do with the lights. Our drive ended at a place with rides and food. It was like a small fair. You can take pictures with Santa, play games to win prizes, even ride camels! The whole family enjoyed the festival!

Sooo many cars! And too expensive. No discount offered. All thing to work on improving. We live in different areas. For price they should offer radio station to the sights and interaction stations to spread to cars around. Merry Merrily!

The festival of lights is worth the drive, wait, entrance fee, all of it. It's one of the most unique light shows that I've ever been to. The carnival at the end is a little dead on weeknights and Santa wasn't there, but Sam the camel was and he's worth every dollar carrot!

Besides having acorns falling periodically on our new camper the over all stay was wonderful. Nice clean friendly campground. The staff was super friendly, sending a special thank you to camp host Paul and Terrie, they were amazing. We had a issue with our air conditioner and Paul came over to assist us. Wow! We had a great site for our 2 german shepherds to run and play for a bit. We definitely will be back.
