Beautiful store. Incredible service! I’ve been experiencing pain for the first time in 10 year from having flat feet. It was a huge bummer wanting to spend my days hiking. Little did I know he was studying to be a physical therapist and offered a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend. It’s clear they care deeply about meeting their customers needs.

I can see why this place gets mixed reviews. One sales person was very shy, and if it weren't for a second very helpful sales person, I probably would have bought nothing. I think they have a nice selection of comfortable shoes. Most of the stock is on the expensive side ($80+). I would go here again. They also had very cute bags and tank tops.

Best customer service around. Bought a pair of Birkenstocks, after 6 months, they cracked. Took them in, they swapped them out for a new pair. I was so great full, I bought 4 more pairs of shoes. They know how to make a customer for life!

I cannot praise this shop enough - their customer service has gone above and beyond. I bought a pair of Cobb Hill shoes from them that, after a day or so, developed a squeak in one shoe. I brought the shoes back, exchanged them for another pair without any trouble, and went on my merry way. Then THAT pair developed a squeak. Again, they could not have been nicer or more helpful; I got store credit instead and bought a different pair of shoes. Those shoes then had an issue with a small puff of air escaping from one sole with every step. If I had all these bad issues with the shoes, why am I recommending this shop? because sometimes you draw the unlucky straw. I've bought shoes from them before without issue, and they don't manufacture the shoes - it's not their fault the shoe was defective. What they're in full control of is how they handle a customer who keeps having problems, and they were, without exception, incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful. They didn't try to argue with me or tell me what the "policy" was or tell me I had to do XYZ. They sympathized, they helped, they gave me a FedEx tag to send the shoes in so I wouldn't have to make a trip to the shop, they tried to make my life better. Sometimes you're the unlucky one. You can't do anything about that. But what makes it worse is if the shop doesn't care that you're the unlucky one and that it's made your life frustrating. The Pedestrian Shop on Pearl cares. A lot. While I certainly hope no one else is unlucky enough to get a few defective shoes in a row (and I do think it's a coincidence - I've bought shoes from them on six other occasions with no problem at all), you should know that if you DO have a problem, these folks will help you gladly and with good humor. They care about you. This is why local shops matter so much - you won't get this kind of service anywhere else.

Bought my last couple pairs of shoes here. Been treated great each time. You can get things slightly cheaper online but really I've found everything I've needed to be quite reasonable. Much nicer to have a local store to go try things on and occasionally find a good bargain!
