If you come in expecting Korean Chinese cuisine, THIS AIN’T IT. I’ve come here on multiple occasions during the past 6 years and I can say with confidence that their food has progressively gotten worse to the point where I’m writing this review after throwing out their food. I got their Jjajang noodle and Champon for to-go. The food was relatively warm when I picked them up, but I felt like they’ve been sitting at the counter for a while because I came early for pick up I scheduled pick up at 5pm and the food was already ready. I live close to the restaurant maybe 10 minutes away. When I got home, the noodles were already cold and stodgy and I had to microwave the food for 2-3 minutes just to get them warm. Jjajang noodles weren’t the best I had but still edible. Champon was not. The soup was bland, lacking in flavor and it wasn’t as thick as it should have been. I tried to dip in the noodles back into the soup just to get more flavor and even that couldn’t save it because the first bite I didn’t get anything, except for floury taste of the noodles. There’s no spice, not enough seafood, just no flavor in general. The noodles were not great either- not chewy and carries zero flavor. I’m never the person to throw away or waste food, but I just couldn’t eat these even though I felt really bad about throwing them out. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I don’t know what they’re doing wrong, but they’re making really bland, awful food that feels like they’re being cheap ingredient-wise and no further thoughts or care have been put into producing the food.
I go to a Peking Gourmet Restaurant back in California since I was born and I would recommend that restaurant to anyone. I cannot come back to this establishment. First and last time I'm here. I ordered Mabo tofu and it's bland and the tofu is firm though fresh it may be, it seems like the tofu used was the hardest possible. The rice has to be ordered and doesn't come with the meal even if it's a dinner menu. Came after 3pm. The rice is sticky rice that is so hard and stale, that for a Korean Chinese establishment, one would think the rice is old. I also ordered Jja Jang Myun and the noodles were hard. Not thoroughly cooked and came out so fast, I almost thought it might have been someone else's order that was cancelled. For a Korean person myself, this sickens me thinking of the customers who come here to eat. I ordered the normal one and there was so little pork in it maybe 3-5 pieces I saw and ate. The sauce was the right texture without the flavor and just salty. Fresh onions are the only plus? My girlfriend ordered the Szechuan noodles and it's not spicy?? I don't get it. It said it was made from handmade noodles but has the same texture of the noodles for the Jja Jand Myun, that it is not hand made?? Seemed just filled with vegetables and practically no meat again. Sounds like a broken record? The kimchi that came out was not a nice sour flavor and the onions and radish did not taste fresh in any way. Hard to tell with the radish since it's the yellow one. The tea was hot and smooth when cooled. Bathrooms are clean. I don't like writing negative reviews because it just seems like a rant. I apologize to those I have affected negatively through this review but I would not recommend this establishment to my friends, family, extended family, and anyone who asks. Parking: Limited parking but there's spaces with no wait. I wonder why.
Bad sweet sour pork - a lot of artificial colors!! . Even panda express is better. Also, their Korean Jjajang noodles are bad. Noodle texture is hard like instant spaghetti noodles.Food: 1/5
Very good Chinese restaurant with also some Korean food. Good price, big portion. Can get family up to 5 meal for 35.00. we had a lot of left overs. Exceptional genuine friendly service. Very professional.
Mushu pork came with no Plum sauce and hardly any pork and there was no fortune cookies because they couldn’t afford them, that doesn’t sound like a good fortune to me ha ha Ha :- and no chopsticks. packages of hoising sauce were provided instead of plum sauce. this gave me no reason to live laugh or love Chinese food. I am very disappointed and I can’t seem to put a finger on anyone eating this food again. Im not mad just utterly alluded.
We like this Korean Chinese restaurant, Peiking and in Korean. We had tofu, eggplant, black bean noodles all for vegetarians and chicken dishes. So good! Sumptuous, delicious, and large portions. Not so oily as typical Peiking dishes - perfectly good for us! Very friendly service
This place is legit and nostalgic. It's been rather difficult lately to find a really good Korean-Style Chinese food restaurant; and this place reminds me of the restaurants that my parents used to take me to when I was young. Whenever I'm craving some Jjajang-myun noodles or some spicy Jjam-pong soup, this is the first spot I think of. The staff are also very warm and welcoming while their food warms my soul.
Hands down the best Mongolian Beef in Bellevue. Been going to this place for the Mongolian Beef lunch special since the 90s. Still haven't found better. Family owned. Very nice establishment.
This is a Korean owned Chinese restaurant which is usually my favorite because I love Chinese food creations from Korea it has a different twist. I went here for lunch today ordered a couple of things such as chicken fried rice, fried chicken, fried potstickers wasn’t too exciting. I would say it was all okay. The seafood noodle that I normally get at a Korean-Chinese restaurant was bland and not spicy at all. I love the walnut prawns it was the best and a must have it. Also I noticed they won't gives you any side dishes if you're not Korean.
Definitely my go to spot when I crave for black bean noodles! : I absolutely love love love their food! However, today the fried dumpling had strong flavor of ginger that over powered my taste buds. I wish I could have tasted more of the pork than ginger.
