I bought a couple gifts here during the holidays and they were reasonably priced and very nice.

I've worked in retail for about five years now. Most of the stores I've worked at have the same standards for customer service and always making sure that employees are greeting/communicating with the customer in a good manner.

I love Pendleton products and this store is always merchandized so beautifully. This review is specifically targeted towards the employees.

Almost every single time I have been in this store for the past three years, the employees have been SO horrible. Each time it's the same exact problems.

Number one: The Greet 
Every time I walk in to this store I get the "Why are you coming in, you're not going to buy anything," look. Then comes the mediocre greet followed by "Can I help you?" Red flag right there. Instantly makes me feel like you REALLY don't want me to be there.

Number two: The Counter Troll
I would like to think that Pendleton wants their employees to interact with their guests and step away from the cash wrap. Are you protecting gold behind that desk? Step away and create some conversation!

Number three: The Send Off 
After milling around the store feeling awkward as hell I try to decide if I should slip out of the store without saying goodbye because obviously the employee doesn't give a rats ass or say goodbye. I decide to be the bigger person and say thank you. The employee doesn't even look up and says "Yea, bye."

Once again, I love the products but man the employees at the airport need some major work!

Great little store in the airport, same prices as the stores in Portland and sometimes they even have really good discounts!
