Really spectacular park. If you're anywhere near Door County, this is the place to go. Huge; lovely, varied trails; beaches, bluffs, buildings, etc. I had some help from some really cool front desk people who recommended perfect spots for a nighttime walk as well as a daytime hike. Note that you can sleep inside the park—I didn't know that and wound up paying more to camp a mile or so away. Also note that the tower everyone recommends is gone and being rebuilt. We hiked along the northern part of the park and loved it. We looked across the bay towards the west at night and that was nice too. A great park.

Lovely place. Huge state park. We visited during fall season n colors were just wonderful. Nice seating areas. The beach area is also fun. Nicollete beach. Camping is fun.

Camped here for fall colors. Super busy but EXTREMELY beautiful! Go here for your next fall adventure but be sure to plan ahead! Spots fill up quick! If you're lucky enough, the colors will match with your reservation.

Huge state park with a lot of view points and things to do. Easily half a day can be spent here. Fall colors are awesome, plan your trip just after the 100% color in the door county area, reason being the park starts to color later than other areas. Easy access from all entrances. Rest rooms can be a bit more clean. $8 for a full day access!

We had a great time here- the views are incredible, it's a nice park to drive through, and there are some great look out points. We tried the Eagle Trail- it was really cool, but very intense. It's incredibly close (about 1 foot) to a sheer drop off with water below. Some sections seemed to have poorly maintained hand rails but some sections did not. It is a great trail for brave souls but not for the faint of heart- we didn't even make 1/2 mile of the 2 mile trail. What we saw was gorgeous but it was a bit perilous.
