Called at 7:15 and was put on hold for 10 minutes. Hung up to call another parts store. Tried back at 7:45 and received the automated message that the store was closed. It is supposed to stay open til 8:00. Very dissatisfied.

Fast, efficient service. Have been able to make quick turn around appointments and drop my cars off for oil changes, inspections, etc. and always had great and friendly service from the guys that work here.

I showed up at this store 20 mins before close with a shard of metal stuck in my tire. Instead of turning me away, they went out of their way to fix me up that night. I was impressed by there kindness and will be sure to return to them next time I need repairs.

The people that work there must drive cars made of gold. 

Mind you after I just got my repairs done there the gentlemen behind the counter asked if I was going to "trash my vehicle" due to its poor shape. I understand my car may be a tad rusted and old but honestly that is not something that you would say to a customer that you have just met.

Also for passing inspection is whole different ballgame, when I got my inspection done there they quoted me something roughly $1,500 dollars worth of repairs before it was serviceable to be on the road. I went down the road (a few miles mind you) to another place and they passed it with no problem.

They are also known for putting things onto the bill that you did not request to be changed on your car. I went in for a simple oil change and he called me told me he put new wipers on my car and he just added it to my bill. I know to many people that sounds frivolous and not that big of a deal but it is to me. I AM the customer, I REQUEST what I want on car, not the other way around.

Needless to say I find another place to go to. Such a shame.

I got a set of pep boys special cooper Adventurers A/T 265/70R17 M&S after talking with the manager at the Pep Boys store in New Hartford  NY. I can't say enough  about the great service and advice I received, right after I purchased them and had them I stalled which was fast as I waited, I headed north into the Adirondacks for a Hockey tournament held on 4th Lake. It was snowing up there as that not unusual in January and parking was at a premium but with these tires performed excellentand with them on my truck I was able to park down the public boat launch in deep granular snow without a problem. Others trucks were having a hard time getting out without a tow or push when I checked out there tires compared to mine the reason was obvious. I was just so happy to have these tires and I have traveled back and forth to Alabama recently and for all the tread they are not noisy at all! Thank you Pep Boys your tires rock!!!!!
