I set up an appointment online to get an oil change and part of the advertised service was that it would be 30 minutes if the appointment was set up online. The service took 1 hour and when I inquired about the 30 minute guarantee, the manager told me that it is only for oil changes. I told him that it is advertised online along with all of their other oil change coupons and he agreed that it seemed misleading. He said he would open a ticket to get the coupons reviewed. I honestly don't think he will create a ticket as the tone of his voice indicated he could care less. This has been the worst customer service experience that I have had at pep boys and will not be returning, at this time I cannot believe anything else they say about my car and I can't trust that the work was done well. 
Also the manager did not go over any other details of the so called inspection or tire thread count, which normally is given as a print out. I don't think they really did it. 

The manager did a good job trying to sell me a battery on a test print out from 2:47AM...

Always great service here. Friendly welcome as soon as I walked in with no appointment. Bought a tire here a year ago with the road hazard warranty and a massive screw tore two holes in the tire. The mechanic checked the tire and immediately honored the warranty no questions asked. Shortly I left with a brand new tire with a new warranty and it only cost $25.

Made an appointment the day before with a gentle man named Kurt, come in the next day and had a terrible experience with the same individual. I was willing to pay a little more for better service and I ended up with disappointing results. Kurt seemed to not want to be in today, no greeting no assistance. Another busy associate kept indicating that me and my fiance have not been helped and argued back after sitting at the register for 20mins that he would get to us later. I made an attempt with small talk before and  just a rude reply. My appointment was for 12... told I wouldn't be helped till 5 and I wasn't even asked what I came in for...a simple tire patch...after I informed him of such he just asked for my keys.

Pep Boys has NOT been the same since Stan left however Frances is a breath of fresh air to this location. Staff is friendly, polite and I'd recommend ANY AND EVERYONE here!

Went there for an oil change and had a light on dash that wouldn't go off.... had this issue looked at several times before.... Kurt, the manager handled my car and was able to fix the problem!  Finally!!  I was very pleased by the service I received... professionally and in a timely manner.
