I can’t get enough of this place!! Want a full, hearty, home cooked meal?! Stop by and say hello to these awesome ladies who cook with their heart! All the food I have ever had here is phenomenal!! But I’ve never thought to order egg and bacon sandwiches I know their Cuban bread would be worth the price of admission!
Can't say enough great things about this place! You pick a meat and 2 sides and receive a plate full. I ordered the beef with black beans and rice and a side of plantains. Everything was very flavorful, fresh, and hot. They give you so much food for the money. I barely put a dent in my plate! If I'm ever in Tampa again, this will def be one of my first spots I visit!

Ordered for delivery. Ordered pulled pork, yellow rice, black bean soup and an empanada on the side. I did not receive soup, I received the beans on top of the rice. The rice feels and tastes prepackaged, like the microwaveable pouched rice. The pork was dry and the empanada was bland. The food did not taste horrible. It was okay, just has room for improvement.
Absolutely delicious food. Every bite was enjoyable. Ordered the shredded chicken and it was amazing. Already planning my next trip.
Stopped by to pick up dinner while our power was out as I heard they had amazing Cuban Sandwiches. The hot table looked great and next time I'll try that, but since I had a Cuban Sandwich on my mind, that's what I ordered. It was good, but I wouldn't call it the best in the bay. It was hot pressed with butter, but the pork tasted a bit dry and the bread seemed overly greasy. The sandwich was also a bit smaller than what I get at other places. The beef empanadas though, those are FIRE! So good, crispy flaky crust, and full of flavor. I enjoyed that much more than the sandwich.
As restaurant owners ourself we always seek out the local small business restaurants. Today Pepe's certainly did not disappoint. We had the shredded chicken and beef along with a side of the meatballs and red beans. The proteins were prepared to perfection and the meatballs were to die for. Super friendly ladies who served it up with genuine smiles. Thank you for making our lunch date on valentines day the best!
The Cuban sandwich was not good. It had lettuce and tomato which doesn’t go on a Cuban. The meat tasted like canned chicken and not seasoned. They used the wrong meat. The coffee was more like leche con café. The customer service not good. We had to get up to get our own napkins.
I go here all the time and order from uber eats all the time. Always same thing cuban sandwich. The past 2 times I've had it delivered it had been inedible to how soggy the bread it and how poorly put together it is. I've ordered delivery plenty of times never an issue now here I am staring at a sandwich while I'm starving but cant even eat it due to it just falling to pieces and honestly who wants soggy bread???? These past 2 orders have made me rethink if I'll ever even go back. Very disappointed in this. I've been eating here for over 10 years
I stopped in for early meal for my day. It was about 11:00 or a little after. There was a few people in the restaurant but they look like they were eating breakfast. I waited a while and then a customer asked a waitress to come help me. Food was served cafe style for lunch. They had a wide selection of different types of meats and vegetables and some other things. I ordered the fresh cooked pork with a chicken thigh leg string beans and yellow rice. The pork was very juicy nicely seasoned and tasted great. Same thing for the chicken thigh leg. It was very good tasty super moist and juicy. I'm not sure about the string beans that I had on the side. I'm not sure if they were canned string beans or if they actually cook them from scratch. All in all the food is very good.
