The Pequea Creek Campground is the mecca of camping, campsites, hospitality, tradition and prestige in southern Lancaster County. Far enough away from civilization to make you feel like you’re a thousand miles from nowhere, the campground is well maintained and the owners are splendid and friendly. The creek is beautiful with open spaces for recreation, swings and playgrounds, hiking and walking trails, a historic covered bridge close by and great amenities for campers of all ages. There is a camp store where you can buy a treat or a necessity that you may have forgotten. Many find that camping in Pequea is going back in time to a simpler, happier way of life. It is peaceful and relaxing, a perfect place for you to find zen and centered-ness. Each fall, legendary field hockey coach Matt Soto camps out at the Pequea Creek Campground during playoffs to help him stay focused and sharp as he leads his field hockey team to the Promised Land. He claims that the nature and the simplicity of the Pequea Creek Campground help him remain focused and poised. There is no better camping experience than the Pequea Creek Campground.

Great campground in the southern end of Lancaster, PA! Owners were awesome to deal with when setting up our reservations and they even called back on the day of check-in to let us know that there was road construction on the one route to camp that may affect us getting in with our camper and offered an alternate route to take! Camp was clean, camp store is well stocked and items were very reasonably priced. It was a great country get-a-way spot for us Lancaster City folks and we will most definitely be return visitors for sure!
