I wish I knew the waitress' name. But she is the only reason I'm giving this a 5 star review. She gives us multiple drinks if she knows she has to clean, she also gave us an extra piece of pie! She's friendly and attentive. The guy waiter is amazing too. Always goes above and beyond. Can make anyone laugh and feel welcomed. He gave me an extra set of pancakes, (when I ordered the unlimited pancakes) knowing he'd have to clean. He was on those plates without me having to ask for more! So go late evening for amazing service. Idk how it is in the day time. The food is generic but that's good I wouldn't expect anything more. Only thing to watch out is the silverware. On one occasion I went through 7 sets (I kid you not) before I found one without food stuck on it. It hasn't happened since but I won't forget that day.

The slowest service I have ever witnessed in my life. They sat us and did not take our drink order for quite some time. And every time I asked for a drink, they were out of it even though it clearly stated on the menu that they had it. Once they finally took our order for our meal, we sat anxiously waiting for about 40 min. Still waiting

If I could give this place a zero star rating, I would. My partner and I ordered a farmers omelet with pancakes and a fab five with pancakes. There were about 5 tables in this servers section, maybe 11 total in the house and we were among the first seated in this "turn". It took us 25 minutes to get our *cold* food after ordering and got no table touches while we waited. It then took another 10 to get ketchup and a coffee refill. Tables in other sections got their food and left in the time it took us to get our food. When we received the bill, we were not even charged correctly. I was wondering why there were cheese in my eggs (didn't ask for it) and my guy got 3 pancakes instead of two... we assumed it was just how it was on the menu, and it isn't like the server stopped by to check anyways. It took another 10 minutes to pay our bill at the register and they had to swipe the card multiple times and re-ring the order. I know it isn't fine dining and Perkins is kind of a dump, but come on. It's pancakes and eggs, get your s#*@ together.

Laurie was very rude the whole time, it was a little bit more busy at the time but she definitely took her frustration out on the guests. The host was alot worse though, as Laurie was struggling the host sat on her phone and didn't offer to help her at all. On top of that a friendly lady came in and asked for a to go glass, and she said ''if you're going to buy a drink.'' I don't know how Perkins runs it's restaurants but if this is how it is I'm not willing to come back. Also 2 tables walked out after not being greeted for 20 + mins. My food came out fine so A+ to the cooks.

I told them I was excepting another guest. The table we (my grandson and I) were sat at was small. I told the waitress I needed a bigger table. So she moved me to another waitresses section, because there was plenty of room at bigger tables. The new waitress saw me sitting there and became angry. She didn't say it right to me but I could hear all the things she was saying, I was able to order me grandson food but I waited for my guest. When he got their she got his drink then igornored us so when I told her we were ready to order she said OK then went on break. So we had to stop someone else to get our order. That person forgot about us. No one checked to see if we needed refills wanted desert....nothing not even when we wanted our bill. So I go up to the front and asked the manager for our bill, and told him how we were ignored. As compensation he removed the kids meal. And said "sorry-bout-that". After I paid my bill the waitress who went on break came back and looked mad the we were still there. I usually tips pretty decently, that time not at all! I will not go back there, there are to many restaurants up and down university to have to deal with bad, rude, desrespectful service.
