My wife and I visited the Perrine dealership on Saturday 6/10/17, considering the purchase of a used vehicle. We live over 4 hours away and that made the stakes of the purchase all the more important. Paul Kirchmyer, our salesman, was very helpful and attentive in getting things ready in advance of our arrival. Unfortunately, the vehicle was not what we expected and we walked away from the deal. My wife was very emotional regarding some of the details and all the while, we were treated with care and compassion! I'm sure there was some frustration on the part of the Perrine support team but Paul and Tim (used car manager), did not let it show. To the whole team at Perrine, we say THANK YOU!!!! We certainly experienced why this dealership has been serving its customers for 90 years. Cheers to your next 90 years! May they bring you all further prosperity and success.

I went to get an airbag recall on my 2006 Saab 9-3. The waiting area was clean and spacious and there was free K cup coffee and tea. The recall was free and they took care of it quickly.

Absolutely terrible experience. And long story to follow. The shirt and sweet is STAY AWAY AND DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! First off my salesman Paul Kirchmyer was helpful in selling the truck. Responded to texts timely. After seeing a listing for a truck online I had father who was local check the truck out. Said it looked great had some slight surface rust on it but nothing of concern. Said the front end had some alignment concerns and Paul assured me it would be taken care of. First problem with the truck was last it was listed with a back up camera. The truck did not have one and the price was not adjusted accordingly which doesn't seem right. Being out of state I bought the truck and had it shipped. Again Paul was great with keeper kg me updated. I received the truck and had to wait several days for the title to come in the mail, which was strange. After having a newborn, getting the truck registered wasn't a main priority, so it sat in my driveway. I get around to registering the truck, roughly a month maybe two later and it fails inspection. The reason being that it had structural frame rust, a stuck open parking brake, and a reverse light was out. After contacting the dealership, the used manager Tim Lorang immediately began to argue with me. Telling me that I was wrong and that there isn't any rust on the vehicle.... he informed me the truck went through the shop and there wasn't a spec of rust on it. Clearly this structural frame rust didn't appear in two months of sitting in my driveway. Tim went on to state that because I registered the vehicle out of state they weren't held responsible for having the truck pass inspection, that they only are liable for NJ inspection. After going back and reviewing documents, I did sign something stating such, but it's the principle of the fact that this is a safety concern. It was never disclosed that the truck had rust problems. It's more concerning that if this dealer did have the truck through the shop, that they didn't address this issue. How many other in safe cars have they passed through without informing customers. Tim proceeded to literally yell at me on the phone. He didn't believe that the truck failed inspection. I faxed a copy of the report along with photos of the frame and got no response. When I followed up he said he was on vacation and never heard from him again. I have sent Fred Perrine, the owner two emails to no avail. They claim it's a family dealership, I wonder if Fred would put his grandson in the back of one of his cars, or how he would feel if his son or daughter was in my shoes. After trying to talk to Fred on the phone, hoping for a better conversation than the manager, I was told Fred was in and it's be just a moment. I was then told he wasn't at his desk and placed on hold until I was Then I was then hung up on. After calling back I went through several loops of being on hold to be hung up on again. After asking for his voicemail I was promptly hung up on. Someone finally gave me a number to reach him which turned out to be some random number. I have had to go and have my truck repaired in order for it to pass inspection. They have had absolutely terrible customer service and I have never been treated so poorly. I wouldn't go to Perrine again even if they were giving away cars for free. I thought a family business would be better than this. Perrine, if you want to make this right, you have my contact information. I am currently seeking council.

I bought my first car in 1975. Perrine provides the best service experience I have ever heard of or encountered since that time. You have some really dedicated professionals over there who deliver the best for your customers. Mike is the best service advisor I have ever met. For the most part GM has kept my family 'coming back', but Perrine's service has raised the bar to a level no one else can touch. It is clear that you take a lot of pride in your dealership. Congratulations on getting it right.

Tim Lorang is horrible and the dealership has the worst customer service. Wish I would have seen this before dealing with them I purchased a used 2015 truck from them last week. Not Cheap They claimed it had gone thru all the necessary checks. 3 days after I get it.......It wont start! Battery is dead. So, I call local mechanic since the truck wont start as I do not want to wait for a tow to come to my house since I am home alone with no car to jump mine. He brings the replacement battery and we swap it out. Problem solved in 1 hour. I call the dealership and talk to the salesperson and discuss my problem. I send him the reciept and the copy of the bill of sale for the new battery. 10 minutes later I get an email that he talked to used car manager, Tim Lorange who said that I can bring the truck in for a new battery but they will not reimburse me for the battery I already bought that is in the car working. That is silly.... if it was easy to wait for AAA get the truck started and drive the hour to the dealership then I would have. They should have performed the necessary checks so this should not happen. All this for $214. Thanks for the personalization in the matter. They called all the time when I wanted to buy the truck but now I get an email stating their case. No phone call back nothing. Horrible customer service. Seems ridiculous that they will not stand behind their work. The truck was supposedly checked for all these things prior to the sale. I guess they lie because this would have been pick up in the inspection if they put a meter on the battery. Guess their checklist is fraudulent!!! Mr Lorang, It would have been easy to say....... Sorry about the dead battery in the new car you just bought, 3 Days ago..... I will reimburse you for the one you paid for. But no, he dosen't care and the dealership doesn't care. Do not go to this dealership!! Do not use this service department!!!! Tim Lorange does not care about his customers and you can not trust that the work they said they performed was even performed. BUYER BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
