We sell more than 8,000 pet care products and services on our website and in over 170 stores located in a dozen states. We specialize in pet food, toys, medicine and clothing, and also offer pet grooming in some locations. In addition, Pet Supermarket works with area organizations to host adoptions and related events for animal welfare.

Horrible service. Looking for some supplies for my reptiles. Mainly my tortoise. Look in the tiny 3 foot section to find nothing tortoise related. I was not greeted as I walked it. Nor did anyone ask if I needed help. Which in deed I did. Then when I walked out no one said have a nice day. This place is horrible. A good hello will go a long way.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus the selection they have from pets to pet supplies is far better than other pet stores and more reasonably priced!

I came in for aquarium supplies. They had a slightly smaller collection than the other chain stores, but a nice selection of live aquatic plants. The staff was all young people who were pretty nice, especially the one who helped me brainstorm my aquarium project, Andrew. I was really impressed with how professional, attentive, and easy-going he was.

this store is terrible. worst customer service ever. I returned a hamster that I bought from a different Pet Supermarket location because she had worms (as evidenced by them crawling around in her poop). I was told she would be taken to a vet and then they would call me and I could purchase her back when she was treated. I come back about a week later (because they never called me like they said they would), they tell me she was never taken to a vet and she had 14 babies. The manager then tells me i cannot have her back for five weeks because that's when they separate babies from mom. It's unfortunate that this store knows nothing about the animals it sells. By 3 weeks hamsters are sexually mature and should be separated into same sex cages. Anyway, even though they should have given me back the entire family, I wait five weeks (never received a call) and come back and ask for my hamster. The girl's response is "We might have sold her..." great! Turns out she hadn't been purchased, but she was for sale! What the hell? They told me they were not going to sell her to anyone else. They also sold most of the babies, and would not give the remaining ones to me. Even though they were not theirs to sell in the first place. Now unfortunately they will all likely be sold in tiny cages and pregnant at 5 weeks old (death sentence) because males and females were not separated. Also, just the cherry on top, my hamster was pregnant again! By her son! Thanks Pet Supermarket! I recommend going to the Ponte Vedra location, they are much nicer and actually give a damn about their customers and the animals :)
