My family and I came in this week and purchased our Dogue De Bordeaux. The place was clean and the staff was knowledgeable. We fell in love with her as soon as we walked in, and she did incredible with our kids in the play area. All of the dogs seemed very happy and well cared for. I don't know what smell people are talking about because it smelled fine, faintly like puppies, but no poo smell or anything. The staff here is very sweet and are so helpful. I forgot some of her papers and had to go up there a few days later. I explained I had my children and dog in the car and would she mind meeting me at the door so I didn't have to unload everyone. The young lady did one better and came out to my car and said hello to our girl and brought me the papers and we chatted a bit. Thank you so much for our beautiful girl! Oh and she had her first vet visit and is doing great! 🐶❤

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Store looked clean and smelled good considering all of the puppies. All of the puppies looked well cared for. I also bought trees and felt they were reasonably priced.

This place is horrid. First of all, the smell in this place is terrible. I know it's a pet store but this was way beyond what you would expect. Especially if you lean over the tops of these enclosures that the puppies are in to pet them. It makes you nauseous. Second, the conditions that these dogs are in are inhumane. Not only because they are crammed, 5 dogs to one small enclosure, but there were multiple dogs that had feces on them. On their faces, the sides of their legs, up by their hips. It's disgusting. One enclosure had 4 piles of poop in it with 5 dogs in it. It's not being kept clean. Then you look through the glass into the back of he store where the grooming salon is and you have the grooming employee sitting down talking on her cell phone. How about she does her job and bathes some of these dogs to get the feces off them. Btw if you read this, and you worked Saturday May 20, 2017 around 2:30pm in the grooming salon.... you're lazy and you got paid for talking on your phone and doing nothing and you suck. You should be ashamed of yourself. Same goes for the two women working the sales floor where the dogs were. They were right there looking at them. Shame on you both for being negligent and not doing your jobs. Also, another thing very weird was that their were somewhere about 30 dogs in this place. Like 6 or 7 enclosures total. Of the 30 dogs, I'd say at least 80% of them were all sleeping while we were there. You couldn't even get most of them to wake up. They seemed lethargic, sickly. This place needs to be investigated/evaluated for their treatment of their animals. Then one staff member said the average cost of a dog was $1,600. You want people to pay that kind of money for a dog and that's the way you keep a store and that's the conditions you keep a dog in? You're out of your mind.

I visited Pet World on a quest for a family dog. We are first time pet owners and needed some guidance and direction for which dog would best fit our family. The friendly and knowledgeable staff were so helpful. Thanks to their insight and suggestions, I purchased our first dog. So pleased with our puppy, I returned a few weeks later and purchased a second dog! EVERY time I take the dogs on outings I'm stopped and asked where I bought them because they are so cute. Pet World has a diverse collection of dog breeds to select from. I was able to interact with the dogs for unlimited amounts of time to help determine personality and temperament and ultimately adopted two happy, healthy dogs. The kind staff have patiently assisted me with questions regarding crate and potty training, bedtime tricks, early wake-ups, etc. Thanks to their helpful advice, I've been able to implement training techniques with success. They also offer competitive pricing on dog accessories which made it easy to one-stop-shop. It is without hesitation that I recommend Pet World for finding that special four-legged friend.

My wife and I went into pet world just to look at all the pups. We were wanting either a Golden doodle, a German Shepard or a standard poodle. We weren't in the "buying" mindset at the time but when we walked in.... there was one of each coincidentally right by the front door. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they allowed us the time to spend with their golden doodle (now named Lucy (: ) and we fell in love with her! The owner also owns captivating acres where we have boarded Lucy along with our other two poodles Murphy and Allie and they were WELL taken care of and seemed like they didn't want to leave when we picked them up! Awesome store and awesome people working their!
