Not educated what so ever. Give inaccurate information, and employees may attempt to over price items. A banana ball python, common in the pet trade, and relatively cheap. At petco, the price is close to $300! At reptile expos you could find one for $100. Huge difference. Fish have ick and seem unhealthy. I personally would not recommend purchasing or getting information from this chain pet store. Not to mention the suppliers for the animals are in horrible condition.

Store is ok, clean, nice employees. They will rip you off if your not carefull. (When a item in store is priced waaaay higher than on the website. It's just not good business. To Petco's credit if you show them it's cheaper on the website they will price match it.  But this is a shady practice at best.)

Went for the first time today. I had to ask the groomer and a non employee to find a clerk, the place was like a ghost town. When I finally got help, the aquatic specialist was awesome in his help, when he didn't have an answer, he didn't make one up. As a well versed fish person, I liked that. But no one manning the store was not good at all.

Rude uneducated clueless. Directed me to cat carriers when asked for an airport dog carrier big enough for a German Shepherd. Last I checked one for his size at airline standards cost over 600$ and she was rude never will go back. No cashier been standing in front could just walk out with anything I wish. No customer service here.
