You guys totally dropped the ball. I had an appointment scheduled to get my two dogs groomed and I get a call ONE HOUR before my appointment stating that they wouldn't be able to because the person they got scheduled with can't groom large dogs. Should have looked at that before hand. Why would you schedule my dogs who were clearly in your system as 80 and 90 lbs with someone who can't groom large dogs? Thank you for making my decision easy to go somewhere else.

They have made at least one error when ringing up my purchases (I don't buy any special orders or services, just dog and cat food) EVERY SINGLE TIME I have shopped there in the past several months. I only have gone back to this store because it is only a few minutes away and I figure "really, I'm only picking up two things, could they really mess that up???" And the answer is yes. Always always yes. 100% of the time the cashiers (and managers-- three separate ones to be exact) make SEVERAL errors. I spent TWENTY-FIVE minutes checking out today because the manager had to figure out why the register was not accepting Petco-issued coupons on the items I ordered. Then two of their in-store promos didn't give me the discount advertised. He claimed to have fixed them but I showed him on two separate occasions that he did not. I had to repeat myself over and over explaining THEIR promotion and he just did not understand what to do (here is the impossible mystery of their promotion: buy 1 bag of N cat food, get 3 free cans of N cat food. How is that hard to grasp??). He said he fixed coupons that weren't accepted as they should have been, and I had to point out that he missed a couple of those too. I have NEVER had this experience, or even a small portion of it, at the Petco on Warm Springs or Tropicana. How is that even possible that the Petco on Blue Diamond is so discombobulated and incompetent??? I will never shop here again, the aggrevation of having to carefully keep tabs on their mistakes and correcting the manager when he doesn't know what he is doing, or claims to have given you what they owe you when multiple times he CLEARLY did not, is just too exhausting. I will drive quite out of my way to go to another Petco. Save yourself the anguish and do not shop here.

The staff here go beyond other pet stores. They educate you on what you are buying. The food the guy recommended for my pom loves it and the price was great for the quality.
