I go here to get sstuff for my guinea pigs. A few things here lableled for guinea pigs aren't good for guinea pigs, just be carefull. Otherwise it was a very nice place.

The store is extremely small and cramped, and frequently understaffed. However, the staff is very friendly and often apologetic for the length of our waits. Several times though we have been overcharged for mislabeled fish. None of this is the employees' faults, however, as there seems to be someone different in the aquatics section every time. The prices are generally pretty high but there is a pretty good selection for being such a small store.

Well I am officially done with Petco as of tonight.  Didn't have anything in stock, (meaning so many items were empty) carts with stuff on them all over the store, could barely move around.  Then once I finally found a different treat for my dog and went to pay, the register wouldn't pull up my PALS #.  Also when I tried to run my credit card, it wouldn't let me do it without a pin # ?!  Since when?  I do it all day everyday all over Dallas.  

Left disgusted, will never come back.

Petco sells fish shipped in from huge fish farms aimed at quantity not quality, so your fish aren't always going to be as well taken care of or as sturdy as a fish from your local family owned per store. Last time I was in they had mislabeled their fish and I got a flowerhorn for $8 so can't complain about the lack of knowledge cx Also I've noticed a few other people mentioned the ich and dying fish, ive seen it too.

I take our family pet here for grooming mainly out of convenience and price. They treat him well and do a fair job, however today we were greeted by a new and energetic groomer. She took our Sunni into her arms and talk to to him and calmed him and listened my concerns and wishes. She assured me she would take good care of him. I got a call in half the time it normally takes. I went right away to get him. Brandy brought him to me and to my surprise he looked amazing!!!!! He looked exactly how a schnauzer should look and even more importantly he was happy. She asked if I was pleased an if everything was ok. It was more than ok. I would highly recommend this talented young lady. She listened, she was very caring with our pet, and good at her job. We will be requesting her from now on. Thank you Brandy.
