Snakes and other reptiles are never taken from their cages to be socialized or handled. I think they're too afraid of a lawsuit if somebody is bitten, so they ruin the snake's chance of being friendly later in life. Beta fish are kept in extremely small plastic jars which are never cleaned, have no filtration, and no moving water. They swim in their filth. Baby betas which are being sold are sometimes too young to be sold in my opinion. One baby beta was dead in its little jar. Pet ferret has two food bowls for some reason. One food bowl was tipped over and it was eating the plastic sticker on the bottom. It's cage was messy and unkempt, and it only had one toy for such an active animal! Staff which are in charge of these animals' lives have no idea what they're talking about, especially when it comes to reptiles. They are usually unfriendly and do not help very much. Mice are overcrowded and are no doubt repopulating in their tiny cage. Fish are very unhealthy and when they die, are not taken from the tank. They are eaten by the other fish. Cat's litterbox desperately needed cleaned. Feces were on the floor and litter was scattered throughout the cage. Lady did thank me for cleaning up his playroom, though. Don't go to Petco!! Go to Go Fish! Tropical if you want quality, healthy pets! They have very kind staff who are much more knowledgeable and kind than at Petco.

Not from this area but I was up here visiting family. I stopped by to get my two dogs washed and Micah did an amazing job. I go to Petco in my home state and they don't do as an amazing job as him. Overall great experience. If you go here ask for Micah.

Purchased some things for our aquatic turtle. He seems to be enjoying them!

Everything here seems it's more expensive simply because it's a pet supply store. Their dog food prices are really high but the staff is very nice. It's conflicting.
