Had a newborn foster kitten that would not have survived the night without formula- I drove out there hoping to make it before closing time. The two young men who worked there were great -let me in a few minutes past 9pm, got my supplies and were just great! Didn’t catch their names.
Store was immaculate with no odor.

Wonderful experience with grooming services. The groomers (Vikki) took care of my lab hound mix and white Sheppard, both large dogs and very excitable. The groom was excellent and my dogs were treated with lots of care. Unfortunately, I don’t live in the area or I would come here often!!! Thank you!!!

I needed to get food for my Rosy Boa that I rescued yesterday and it was in need of food. When I arrived 10 minuets before their closing time, and a employee turned me down, and my Boa ate my cat the next morning. Fluffy is gone, and so is my respect for Petco.

Employee did not let me purchase a catfish because the tank was “to small”. Having fish for a decade I know this both wrong and absurd. She even went to say you needed one GALLON of water per INCHE of fish! Even saying this was incredibly incorrect and she refused to sell me any fish. WILL NOT be returning, I will take my business to PetSmart or All Pets Club. In addition tanks were filthy and fish did not have lights. The girl was also snotty and rude.

I was just in the Torrington Petco, and the Sun Conure they had was named Skittles. We told one employee, and he tried to explain what it could be, however, as an owner of a parrot, that was incorrect. I spent some time with him, but it didn’t help, I thought it was because of nerves originally. However, we could tell that something was wrong seeing that when he went to clean himself he fell over. This bird needed the proper care, we told yet another one as we were about to leave, and she could care less. Multiple times we have complained to the employees about the care of their animals, especially the rodents. Surprising I’m saying this, but I would get an animal there just to give them a living home. I personally have two guinea pigs and a fish that I have gotten there over the years. I hope that this will open people’s eyes especially the overall owner of the Petco company will realize how animals are being treated in this store.
