I literally go in this store more often than I should. I've bought many many fish from this store. I've lost some and still have many. Josh is very knowledgeable and polite. He's answered many questions about stocking diet and compatibility. I enjoy the experience of doing business with Josh at petco.

I went there tonight to get a 40 gallon breeder for my hermit crabs. They had krabooz. They are basically hermit crabs in a cruel and wrong enclosure. They also sell those jail/torture enclosures to. The hermit crabs don’t have enough substrate to molt or deep salt water and fresh water bowls. The crabs in the krabooz tank were very lethargic. If you buy hermit crabs please join the land hermit crab group on Facebook for proper care info if you don’t want it abuse/torture and kill your crab. If you don’t care than your a animal abuser.

DO NOT BUY FISH HERE!!! I just bought a few mollies and they introduced some virus or bacteria to my 50 gal tank! I've already lost 5 of the mollies I bought and one of my own fish. I'm an avid aquascaper and know about water quality. My tank was stabilized and healthy before the recent introduction. I've tested my water parameters twice daily with no problems. 
If anyone else has this problem, I suggest setting up a dip tank with methylene blue (which Petco does not carry, FYI). Instead purchase fish from Dr. Foster and Smith online.
