We bought a puppy from here a month ago, we had a issue with our puppies eye but it was resolved as quick as we told the oweners about it and it was all dealt with appropriately and everyone was happy. They made sure we were happy leaving the store and that all questions were answered. Great customer care!!

Nice staff, very high quality animals. If pedigree and breeding are important to you this is the place to go. Not for anyone who doesn't want to spend a few grand on a pet.

The animals are adorable. And some of the staff were very nice. But we only got to play with one puppy. They said you have to fill out a financial form to hold most of them because they want to know you are serious about buying them. I personally would not spend 2 to $3,000 for a puppy but have taken the kids there multiple times to play with them. So this must be a "new" thing. Puppies like to play rather than being kept in their cages.

Much improvement over the past year, dogs look much more healthy and come from local dog breeders. Staff is very friendly and approachable.

It is truly outstanding how poor and unprofessional the customer service is at Petland in Joplin. Today, I called the store to ask a question. When I called, an employee answered the phone with "Hello?" As I am usually met with a greeting and an announcement of the business establishment, I assumed I had the wrong number, but I responded, "Hello, is this Petland?" The employee responded to me, "Is this Cassandra?" I replied, "No, this is not Cassandra" (and I was shocked that an employee would lack such etiquette). The employee then replied, "Oh, okay, never mind then, what can I help you with?" For the second time, I asked again, "Is this Petland?" as I still was not yet informed if this was the correct business that I had contacted. After the employee finally told me that I was in fact speaking with Petland, I proceeded to inquire regarding my question, to which the employee immediately responded in an disinterested tone, "I have no idea." I thanked her for her "help" and ended the call.
That phone call sealed the deal for me.
