We've had so many fish die right after being purchased from this store that I will not purchase any more fish from petsmart.  Interesting that they put on a big sale on tropical fish and every single fish that I bought during the sale died, and every fish in the tank that they were added to died shortly thereafter, including my two 10-year old plecos.  I keep my tanks maintained and test the water weekly, and all my other fish are healthy and happy - but every single fish I've bought from this location in the past 2 months has died and whatever they were carrying killed all their tank-mates as well.  Buyer beware.

This is a nice sized store with a lot of great products. We mostly go here for a few items for our dog. I wish they carried higher quality foods but overall it's a good store. They have a lot if high quality items for much less than you'd pay at a boutique pet store.

They keep Tennors (fish) in hanging bags which just seems plain cruel. Most of the pets also look traumatized. A lot of fish tank supplies though with adequate food to feed your pets for a cheaper price than most other stores. Better to support local stores though instead of mass corporations such as this.

I had my puppy at the pet's hotel for three night with big expectations and trust until I picked him up on Sunday morning on Easter. I've noticed that he was not very happy to greet me after a 15-20 min waiting the staff to bring him up out to me. They assured me that they were washing his bottom because they found some stool on his fur, so he can be clean and appropriate to go home. That made me a little nervous, but I accepted it. His tail was down, and I was busy to kiss him and give him hugs, so once we entered the car at the parking lot, I saw that his bottom around his anus was very swollen, red, and painful. We went back right way, and the assistant manager was surprised to find out that considering to the fact that she personally washed his rear for 20 min, she didn't know about the problem. On the very next day, when I went back to the store to use the money they gave me back for the hotel stay, one of  the other managers said to me that the veterinarian doc told them that the inflammation of the anal glands doesn't happen over night, so he had the symptoms before I dropped him off. I took this as a blame instead she as a manager could have deascalated the problem. My puppy was with his veterinarian one day before I dropped him off at PetsMart, so she can confirm that he was not symptomatic. And, he was not. Everything happened at his stay there. Nobody paid attention to his symptoms, they even didn't share with me at the day I picked him up, trying to hide, and they not only blamed me, but one of the female managers told me that it's hard to "dig up fur" to see symptoms. Take your own risk leaving your pet there! I'm writing this because I don't want this to happen to other pet. We all make mistakes, but they didn't try to admit it.

Clean, bright, doesn't smell. Live birds look healthy. Large selections & mostly competitive prices. Need to know $$. Poor selection of cat brushes which is what I specifically came looking for. Also poorly displayed - couldn't get items off pegs. No staff to help (disabled).
PetSmart carries Ellen Degeneres' line of pet'ware' . If you're into all things ED. If you're into all things pets, lots of clearance &  seasonal items. Also have a Food Shelf bin for pet food in E.P. I presume @ all locations.
