Beware that PETSmart seems to be (I hope) sincerely oblivious to, rather than maliciously silent on the fact the breeder(s) they purchase all their Guinea Pigs from has had a massive 'Ringworm Outbreak'. Almost all the babies they sell are infected by this disgusting fungus which CAN BE transmitted to humans... I adopted several boys from this store and they came infected. The last baby boy I adopted is riddled with ringworm all over his tiny body. I have a terrific Family Doctor guiding me, and he's part of our family. We are healing him just like we did his brothers, however I'm heartbroken for the other babies going to houses with children and parents who, knowing the new pet has ringworm, will dump them at the first shelter they can find and never look back. It is not the Guinea Pig's fault, the treatment for this is very easy and non-invasive however I pray that authorities look into this and go to the source... The breeder is being very cruel with these innocent animals by having a farm with an outbreak seems to be completely out of control.

Clean, well stocked, helpful staff. If you are a cat parent check the dog section out for bowls and such. The same item in the dog 🐶 aisle is cheaper than the cat 🙀 aisle!

Dealt with the grooming department. Worst place ever. Won't take my mom's dog back there. Sara or Sarah is horrendous. She tied her dog to the tub and when her dog panicked she let her choke. When she pooped she then took her out of the tub- WET- and tied her to the wall. Still pooping and not dry, she put her in a crate. Manager did nothing. Sara should be fired because she clearly can't do the job. If my mom's dog doesn't like you there's a reason. She didn't like Sara. Will NEVER return for grooming.

Sold me a turtle with an RI and shell rot and claimed the shell rot was just it’s markings. I only bought to the turtle because I was afraid of the neglect it would receive as a result of leaving it there when it needed medical treatment. This is all a shame because I used to really enjoy this store up until this point.
