Great Pizza but the kitchen is never opened past 7:30. Great food as well and the Italian Deli rocks! Just not satisfied with the kitchen closing so early they must lose a ton of business. They have a great selection of imported Italian food and wine.

I used to love the pizza because the slices were real New York pizza size, where you had to fold the slice in half. Just like home(NYC). Now you get a medium sized pizza instead. Not only did the size change, but they stopped the special. I called in to complain because I ordered half pep half x-cheese and only got 2 slices of x-cheese and 6 mini pep slices. The woman was rude, didn't let me finish a single sentence and pretty much showed no concern or sense of customer service. I won't go back. Hopefully the other Pik N Run still serves a real large pie and has better customer service. I've never complained or given a bad recur before but this was just too much not to share.

Pros: The Pik N Run is one of the finest places in Charlotte country and neighbouring Sarasota county to find great Italian pastries, breads, unique Italian pasta and Italian eatery items and cold cuts .. The Pizza's are one of the best around. It's great to have them around in our own Port Charlotte. Cons: The Pik N Run has very bad Food management , they leave items such as Pizza, meals, and pastries that have been sitting on the shelves out way too long.. A slice of pizza may have been sitting out hours and has become stale and the freshness gone even when recooked, the pastries may be soggy or wet for being left out too long and not bought, the meals and bread as well .. It's always best to ask " How long has it been out?" And buy at your own risk .. Over all if they could improve on the food management , The Pik N Run could go from a good place to eat with delicious foods to a Excellent place to eat.

The manager is incompetent & rude. She hung up on me for asking questions LOL..... I accidentally chose the wrong gas,went inside to change it,and my card was declined because they put a HUGE hold on my card for the first swipe outside...I understand that gas stations do this,but I didn't even get gas because it told me to go inside to see the cashier. By that time my card was in the negative from the massive hold they put on it. I called her back after she hung up on me. She actually said "No,I didn't hang up on you,I told you we were done." Who talks to a customer like that? Aren't managers supposed to be great at customer service & defusing situations? I can't imagine how someone like that is allowed to work in a customer service position,let alone be a manager. I've worked in customer service for years & I would have been fired for doing something like that. It's pathetic & sad that we have people like that working with the general public.

Good service, the staff is always friendly. I always get good service at the Dunkin Doughnuts counter when I go for coffee.Anais is always friendly and courteous. She's a very good asset to the store.
