So we ordered two pizzas. The Hawaiian had maybe 2 pieces of ham hidden under the cheese, we had to dig for it. Ham is a topping, it should be on top, it enhances the flavor vs hiding if. We called the guy was just like “yah man I just made it myself”, like that’s something to be proud of. The supreme had barely any meat on it. We ordered from Pink’s before and know what the pizza we ordered should look like. These give zero fuchs about the quality of their pizza or customer service. Wanna get a crappy pizza? Go to Pink’s (this location).

I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are about? I’ve been getting takeout pizza from this place for over 5 years, and they have always been consistently hot, quick, and delicious. My favorite will always be a slice from corner joints in NYC, but Pink’s is the closest I’ve found in Houston. My husband and I have been known to consume an entire large pizza in one night. Everytime I open a Pink’s pizza box, I actually let out a squeal in delight! I’ve been meaning to take a pic, but everytime we get a pizza from here, it ends up in my very happy belly before I remember to take out my phone :)

My #1 Pizza Place.

So I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Reading some of the negative reviews, I think people are too picky but perception is always the prerogative of the perceiver. Then again, maybe they should have just ordered Domino's or gone to CiCi's Pizza!! LoL

I always get take out. I've never been happy with delivery service from anywhere. IT doesn't matter who. At some point, delivery service fails so I won't be reviewing Pinks on their delivery besides I live well beyond their service area. I usually do take out on the way back home after work which for me makes the Bissonnet location super convenient.  

One thing I have noticed where people go wrong, is they think that if they show up to the restaurant they will have their pizza made faster than if someone like myself orders online and picks it up. It's kind of an old school way of thinking. Out of the 4 trips there, on two of those occasions I noticed someone waiting on their pizza and irritated on why it takes so long and then for it to only be worse by watching someone walk in to immediately pick up their pizza. Ooooh. Orders are processed in the order they are received and they require 30 minutes to make the Pizza. Call me crazy but I think this is totally reasonable...considering what your paying for... 

And you are paying for this quality pie that's freshly made. Everybody who I shared some of my pizza with loves it! Pinks is definitely above any of the other pizza chain outfits but they are not so cheap. They are not supposed to be cheap because they are using quality ingredients. I have a Marco's Pizza near to me which isn't too bad but Pink's is still a step up without being anymore expensive. Pink's pizzas are just more flavorful and some of the cheeses I've had, just hits me in the back of neck and my eyes glaze over for a moment. Mmmm.... Also, the crust is delicious. 

The 4 Pizzas I ordered were over the past NBA WCF with the Rockets and Warriors. Each night that the Rockets won I happened to order Pinks Pizza but it didn't work out tonight. I must have messed something up in my order for Game 7 or it was the Reffs intervention or the fact that we missed all of our 3 pointers or James Harden's turnovers!! Arghhh!! I don't know but over the course of the series I ordered the following pizzas: This Guy, The Mediterranean, Bada Bing, and the last one was The Deuce with extra sausage, pepperoni, and cheese! I didn't take photos of all of the pizzas but I think those photos I posted are from This Guy and  The Deuce

Pizza by the slice is a little pricey.  Ended up waiting 10 minutes for what I thought would be a quick grab and go. They also burned my slice,  don't think it was worth the wait or price.

I took my family out to something for un and I went to pink Pizza thinking we would have a good experience. We have never heard of this place but thought we would try it. After 20 minutes she said I had to wait another 15 for my food. We did not get our food till after 7:30 PM and we ordered it at 7 PM. There was three people inside. All we wanted was a cheese 16 ounce pepperoni with half mushrooms and half Canadian bacon we got no Canadian bacon. We ordered cheese sticks I said specifically five mozzarella sticks we got something completely different. We got pizza bread with cheese? When I bought it to the ladies attention she just said oh no so sorry. We spent almost $35 on our order and I tipped him three dollars. They were slow they got my food wrong and they did not care about it. And it was expensive lesson. I don’t think I’ll ever come there again. And I will put this on Yelp! They could’ve at least given me free mozzarella sticks to cover for my stress.
