A throwback beer-only place. A dive bar in the best sense of the term. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, generally friendly, knowledgeable customers. Could be packed, could be empty. Always a good adventure.

Pretty good ambiance, all about the beers and wine, has pool for a buck, great service, and usually the crowd is a lot more mellow than most of the other bars in San Rafael.
