We envision Terrapin Crossroads as community cultural and educational center. We plan to celebrate the arts – music, culinary, poetry, dance, literature, visual arts including photography, theatre, and other creative endeavors – so aside from a performance space and restaurant, Terrapin Crossroads will also host art exhibits, have an art-and-music-themed library and reading room, memorabilia displays, and a beautiful, comfortable place where friends can meet to exchange ideas over a glass of wine or a drink, a terrific meal, and of course hear some great music.

We’ll also be a place for teaching and learning: in addition to regular musical performances, we will offer curated conversations with celebrated visionaries, luminaries, characters, and eccentrics, discussing topics ranging from cosmology to history to environmental issues to building team spirit and beyond.

This will be our home away from home, and we hope it will become yours as well.

We're excited to welcome everyone to the new Terrapin Crossroads! It's been a real trip getting everything ready for the official opening, and the journey's just beginning. The concert space is extremely small and intimate, just the way we all like it. And as much as we'd prefer not to have too many rules, with such a small space we do need to request that you follow a few very basic guidelines:

No babes in arms (hey, it's going to be loud in here!)
No backpacks (we don't want to have to do any heavy searches and there is no room, so it's best to just implement this rule)
No cameras (we don't want to constantly look out to flashes, plus they tend to distract other concert-goers)
No recording (video or audio, let's all be in the moment)
No lasers (as obvious as this is, we thought we should include it in case...)
No phones (we don't want recordings of any form, so please don't pull out your phones and record audio, video or photos again it is a small venue and a sea of recording devices is distracting )
Dogs allowed in the park only & must be on leash.
We don't want to spend too much time, if any, implementing these rules, so please follow from the start. And if we do need to implement them, don't tell us we didn't warn you...

Thanks for understanding, and with this bureaucratic bit out of the way, let's get on with the task we're all here for: to enjoy some music in a great setting!

Truly a great place to bring the whole family, I took my 91-year-old mother and she had the time of her life. A wide variety of food means even the pickiest eater is sure to be happy! When the music is playing, the dinner conversation is still enjoyable because of the acoustics. This place is truly an asset to our town!

I love the place. Impromptu performances by Phil and his kids and buddies! Amazing. Very relaxed. Food is good. Never had to wait that long, but who’s in a hurry? Fantastic outdoor area to watch the bands. Kids play area. Amazing! We live in San Diego and visit our daughters in the Bay Area quite often. I always look forward to the Crossroads. My daughter in Tiburon has two kids, 3 and 5. They can dance and run around and have a blast. Best place for kids. Mom and Dad and Grandpa and Grandma can all relax and enjoy the food and drink and entertainment.

Very good for the price. 4 slices of crispy bacon on the burger, awesome! The fire dog was nice and spicy. Onion Rings were just right. I have my eye on the "Combo" next time. i will be back for sure.

This venue ROCKS and is owned by Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead band. Sometimes he plays here along with Bob Weir. How lucky are we to live nearby?! Food is good. Large outdoor area.
