PVCF has provided a very transformative experience for me over the past couple of years. I started CrossFit about two years ago after participating strictly in endurance sports for about a decade. I had no experience with weight lifting and I didn't know what a metcon was. The coaches at PVCF provide exceptional training. They also make all the members feel like family. I've made some really wonderful friends and couldn't be happier to be part of this community. For anybody looking to better themselves I would recommend dropping in for a class or talking with one of the trainers.

Best gym experience

As a middle aged , out of shape woman, seven weeks ago, I never thought I could do half of what the younger people are doing or actually stick with going to class regularly. I continually surprise myself when I am able to do a WOD with  a less scaled version or with a better time.  I certainly have a LONG way to go, but the Instructors are the best people I have ever seen.  They push when you need pushing and root you on when you need encouragement. They believe in your ability to improve your skills and help you achieve your goals. But its not only them. The whole PVCF community encourages you so you wont give up. There is nothing like the feeling when you are thinking to yourself, "I cant do this" and suddenly an athlete from behind yells, "Come on, you can do it", and  you realize you are not alone. There is just nothing like knowing people wont let you fail.  PVCF has truly changed my life. I cant imagine not going to class every day and meeting the newest challenge.
